A very relaxed and warm welcome from Diana and Dan even though I was forced to dash in and out in the evening, barely meeting them, because traffic had by then made me late for the special event I had come to attend locally. They took this easily in their stride, and in the morning we made up for this, and had a really great conversation over a imaginative breakfast cooked by Dan which clearly referenced cuisines originating well beyond 'the Garden of England'! Learning as I did about Diana and Dan's fascinating, creative work, this was a good example of how Airbnb can prove a pleasant and often serendipitous opportunity for positive social interaction, as well as a practical way of procuring reliable accommodation. My welcome and stay at 'Roselle' turned out to be the perfect complement to the event I attended, and helped make this a special weekend.

Many thanks to Dan for all the tips and advice. You and Diana have a home with character and it was a pleasure staying at yours. For those staying for walks in the High Weald, consider doing a day-trip to Rye. It's a beautiful old coastal town. Check out their art gallery in case of interest, highly recommended.

Diana and Dan made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was good with excellent coffee. The room was quiet and the futon comfortable. Although there was plenty of common space to share I was there too short a time to appreciate what is a the warm and friendly home.
