Molly-Ann's hostel has excellent reviews for a reason. The home has the coziness of a cabin in the woods with the amenities of a 21st Century modern building. All the little things are tended to, from clearly labeled bedrooms to chargers by the bunkbeds. There are printed guest books with any information and suggestions you will need, and wonderful common areas to meet fellow guests - the place has a very inclusive vibe. Great for tourists stopping through the interior and for Dominicans looking for a break from the hustle of the capital. 5 stars without hesitation!

Rancho Ruisenor is a very special place. Right off the main road from town, with an amazing group of people in charge and a comprehensive guidebook, everything in the area is within reach. The kitchen was fantastic and had it all--coffee, spices, great pots and pans. The beds were comfy and the energy in the mornings around the hostel was ideal. We stayed in the side house which was beyond luxurious with great bathrooms, plenty of hot water, and inviting common areas. And as far as the managers and help, Molly, Hidalfo, and Suzanne were great and the locals were beyond welcoming and really cared. I would definitely come back

Hey Sam! Thanks so much for such a well written review! It was such a joy to have you, Brian, and Maddie stay with us. We are so glad you enjoyed your time here in Jarabacoa and your time in Jarabacoa Mountain Hostel (Rancho Ruisenor is actually down the street). Thanks again and please know you are welcome anytime! Thanks, Suzanne

This is how hostels should be done. This redefines what I expect, beautiful and warm in the heart of the mountain town Jarabacoa. Exquisite accommodations, kind, experienced, and knowledgeable hosts. I am eagerly wanting to return. The Ritz-Carlton/Gran Bahia of ranchos in my humble estimation... Aaron

Great person. Molly and her husband were fantastic hosts. Very easy to talk to and extremely helpful about anything you ask or want to know in general. Perhaps my best airbnb host so far.
