After showing the house Ariel made us a cup of tea and he took his time to feel us at home. Since it is his only house he had to leave and stay elsewhere. A couple living next door could take care of all questions we could have and Ariel is in reach by phone.
For one who likes to taste a real Samaria community feeling, this is the place to be. The village is not protected by a fence but that's how they live here and why can't we?
To get to the house you need to take a small bumpy road downhill. To go up is bumpy again of course and challenging after a rain shower. You can als leave the car uphill and walk the distance of only 200 meters if you like.
The self build home is (still ) small but comfortable. All you need is there though you have to take care yourselve your breakfast.
We found ourselves in the middle of Samaria nature and during nights it is very quiet.
