Overlooking the local park and bowls club, this house is only 5 minutes from Ipswich CBD, hospital, gym facilities and shopping centres. Ipswich is centrally located in the booming south east Queensland region of Australia. To the east is the capital city Brisbane, and to the west are the rural and agricultural areas of the Brisbane, Lockyer and Fassifern Valleys. The city is ideally positioned on the national road network - 40 minutes drive from Brisbane, an hours drive from the Gold Coast and 60 minutes drive from domestic and international air and sea ports.

10 minute walk to Booval train station and 2 min walk to main bus route to the town centre. Booval straddles Brisbane Road, the main arterial link to the Ipswich Motorway. The Booval Fair shopping centre, located on Brisbane Road, contains a number of major chain stores, including Woolworths and Big W, while a number of smaller businesses line South Station Rd and Brisbane Rd.

The origin of the suburb name is from the Kabi Aboriginal dialect meaning frilled lizard.

1. House should be treated with respect and left in similar condition as per arrival. Rubbish disposed off in external bins - kitchen left clean and tidy.
2. No parties or gatherings
3. Respect for all property and neighbours in terms of noise in particular between 10.00pm and 8.00 am and parking - use of dedicated bay 2 only for parking.
Important: There are 2 parking spaces available, 1 in the garage and the other is bay 2. Please ensure cars are not parked anywhere else in the complex.
4. No additional guests without prior approval or other arrivals in addition to those agreed as part of the booking.
5. Strictly no smoking indoors or on verandas.
6. Internet - No illegal downloads or any other illegal activity.
7. Please let me know before departure if there has been damage to the house or contents. Guests are responsible for any damage which occurs during their stay.
8. Please ensure children are supervised at all times.
9. No pets.

This is a very stylish house. Courtyard out the back was good for the two kids to have some space to run around in. Nice and close to a shopping centre and a short drive to an excellent playground in Queens Park. There is also a large park practically across the road - if children need to run around. I appreciated the WiFi and my husband appreciated the Netflix. I had no problems sleeping - beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Mark was an excellent host and replied promptly to emails. Thanks for sharing your home.

We stay for 7 days in there, the house is clean and feels very warm, and also have a nice backyard, my kids enjoyed it so much during the day, they play in the backyard and having so much fun. House is great just like in the photos. The booval train station is moreles 1-1,5K away from the house, if you like walking, then it wont be a problem. But for travellers with children, you might wanna prepare additional budget for taxi specially during rain. Woolworths are about the same, walkable to buy some groceries if you want a home-cook meal. The host also provide a lot of food/beverage on the fridge, over all it was such a lovely stay at Mark's house.

We were in Ipswich for Christmas with family and Mark's place was the perfect base for us and our two children. A very stylish, well kept and fully equipped townhouse with most welcome essentials in the fridge and cupboard. A quiet location with access to a lovely park across the road and short drive (literally a couple of minutes) to central Ipswich. I highly recommend a stay here, great value!
