Working hearth, a transparent bathroom. The room opens to a green bamboo forest and blue sea. Open your eyes with the beaming sun waking up your soul. Artful new moon shape fireplace. Bold red bathroom with two sides of glass with perfect privacy.

The space

Brief >

We are a resort-like B&B, each room we rent is separated from each other, all in the woods, facing the ocean.

Description >

Public area offers wireless internets and big, beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, a spacious garden facing the sea.

Four rooms are in different styles, all with private bathrooms and a studio set. Showering hot water are generated from wood fire :) One room is with a open but private bathtub; one is with a fireplace inside the room and a transparent bathroom which no one but monkeys can see; one is with a balcony and a swing, and a whole wall of windows; one is on top of a tree over a little valley.

Surroundings >

It is close to famous tourist destinations: Three Fairies Bridge, but in our opinion, the ocean and the sand at the end of the road is the best.

Food >

However, there's no many restaurants nearby, normally visitors either order our meals ,breakfast $100/person,lunch and dinner which consist of fried rice or dumpling ($100) some time we eat together price for cooking the meals is ($200) or cook by yourself . normally visitors either order our meals or cook by themselves. Our meals aren't written down in a menu, we prepared them according to materials on season, we bake our own bread and the rice are from our close farmers, we also offer great home-made Choya-like plum wine, and many others, it depends on the season you visit.

Special Remarks >

This place was completely, utterly HANDMADE, it's the masterpiece of the owner, a DIY masterpiece. It will be very obvious if you look into the details, it a bit rough, not professional enough. Many of our visitors are big fans of it.

We have many dogs and cats, 6 each. All very cute and friendly.

Eclectic & rustic, Nancy & David's property offers sea views over the Pacific. Our room (more accurately a standalone cabin) was nestled among the trees, with a view of the Pacific Ocean. During our stay, showers in the glass-walled bathroom are only available after 8pm as the hot water tank is heated by firewood, which is a unique experience. This is a lived-in home and it shows. Do note that there are steep & slippery steps to navigate, so guests with any accessibility issues might want to check with the hosts beforehand. Wear sturdy footwear!

My mom and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. We had the fortune of meeting some other like-minded guests which made the stay very pleasant. Nancy's place is atop a hill so it's about a 15 minute walk down to the ground and a further 10minute walk to the beach, but we didnt have to walk because David (Nancy's husband) sent us there. The food was decent and the surroundings better. I spent one evening watching the cat paw at the frogs catching flies. The biodiversity is amazing. Also we (5 of us staying there at one point) had the privilege to go trekking with one of the couple's friends. It was such an adventure that kinda made my mom and i interested in rock climbing. It was like a tour that lasted 3, 4 hours but make sure you wear proper shoes because it's tough to walk on stones barefoot for a long time if youre not used to it. Needless to say the rooms were beautiful and true to pictures. The room i stayed in, My Dream, was very spacious as well. While both hosts Nancy and David were always busy with their daily household chores and building duties, they did their best to accede to our requests and it bothered me slightly that i was interfering and disturbing them. Regardless I'm looking forward to heading back in the near future again :)

I love it. Ocean AND forest view. Rustic cabin up on a hill, unique and creative. Warm hospitality. Wished I had stayed longer! Will definitely come back again.

Second time to visit David and Nancy and it wont be the last! fantastic way to spend the xmas holidays. they are wonderful hosts. travelling around you get the chance to meet a lot of people but there are very few that are so special that you will never forget. David and Nancy are two that fit this category! the cabins are in the mountain (or trees!) and are very well thought out, designed and built. all by hand! however to be fair, very little time is spent in the cabins as the common room is where all guests gather to be entertained by David and Nancy, with their special cooking, and homemade plum wine + whiskey and 宵夜! there is no surprise that all the reviews are positive. will be back soon...

We are a family that enjoys the breeze of mountains and the oceans, that is why we moved away from the glamorous city to the little countryside, Taidung.

Our house is located on a hill and faces the Pacific Ocean, the house was originally made for personal use only, four rooms are for four pretty girls in our family, so each room is with different style due to the requirements of whom the room was designed for.

Now our place has become a B&B named Chez Les Belles two years ago, we have only four rooms, but each separated from another, offering the greatest privacy, in the woods :)

I don't want to describe too much about the feeling this place has, but from the feedback of many, it's a place where you can relax utterly, melange yourself into the nature and still at a very comfortable environment (No need to rough it up).

Nothing better than experiencing it personally, so, last but not the least...
