Goodness me! It seems this guest is a serial complainer so beware! In response to her comments after our doing so much to try to accommodate this guest, she booked a few nights at the last moment to "check us out, then later in the evening asked could she stay one more night which I agreed to, but wanted me to book it for her. Unfortunately overnight someone else instant booked the room which was out of my control & unfortunate for her, but certainly doesn't qualify as "poor customer service", and yes we are penalised financially & we lose our excellent airbnb rating if we cancel a booking which I wasn't prepared to wear since the situation was her bad planning not ours! We still offered a bed for her in a shared room which she was under no obligation to take & she seemed very happy especially at the lower rate she was paying.
Next! She said she always "feels the cold" wherever she goes so she is just making this comment to support her gripe.The heating is very adequate..the heaters are turned on 6-10am & 5-11pm every day. We simply cannot run electric heater 24hours a day, lest we get $1000 heating bills at our house..the only way this would be feasible would be to double the room rate(she was paying which was $30 per night..less than a hostel!)
I am really disappointed by this very unkind review, we interacted regularly with this girl & tried to make hers a very comfortable stay. As said, a serial complainer so probably best you think twice before allowing her at your home.
