I, my husband and 2 boys (9 & 7) stayed here for our last night in NZ. The location is great, and although the property does not have a harbour view, it is close to a marina and nearby beaches. The accommodation was comfortable and the bedrooms are large and light. Felicity was an attentive host and offered information about local amenities. She enquired before we arrived as to what breakfast the boys would like.

As your vibrant kiwi host in Bayswater, I provide a retreat from the city, just 20 minutes from downtown Auckland. My home is a little slice of Europe and the subtropics... It's where I enjoy spending a lot of my time when in Auckland.

HOW I SOCIALISE:
I'm also Croatian! One of my favourite things is a glass of red wine with cheese, plus fun conversation to match.

MY FAMILY:
My parents hosted people through Bed & Breakfast for 25 years - they embraced cultural diversity and travelled extensively. This passion has passed naturally on to me, and to my sister in Cambridge - see her listing www.airbnb.co.nz/rooms/19145707.

WHERE I HAVE LIVED AND TRAVELLED:
I lived in Brisbane a couple of years ago, and in London in my late teens, London, and more recently spent 6 months in Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Greece, and Croatia. When I was a kid, my twin sister and I journeyed around Europe and Russia with our parents. My favourite travel destination would have to be Croatia with its magical coast - and the market vegetables are out of this world! As for authentic hospitality, Turkey is top of my list.

Look for forward to hearing from you!
