As your vibrant kiwi host in Bayswater, I provide a retreat from the city, just 20 minutes from downtown Auckland. My home is a little slice of Europe and the subtropics... It's where I enjoy spending a lot of my time when in Auckland.
HOW I SOCIALISE:
I'm also Croatian! One of my favourite things is a glass of red wine with cheese, plus fun conversation to match.
My parents hosted people through Bed & Breakfast for 25 years - they embraced cultural diversity and travelled extensively. This passion has passed naturally on to me, and to my sister in Cambridge - see her listing www.airbnb.co.nz/rooms/19145707.
WHERE I HAVE LIVED AND TRAVELLED:
I lived in Brisbane a couple of years ago, and in London in my late teens, London, and more recently spent 6 months in Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Greece, and Croatia. When I was a kid, my twin sister and I journeyed around Europe and Russia with our parents. My favourite travel destination would have to be Croatia with its magical coast - and the market vegetables are out of this world! As for authentic hospitality, Turkey is top of my list.
Look for forward to hearing from you!
