The space

The house has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, one Queen size bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds, sofa bed in a separate lounge area, an updated bathroom with a European laundry.
There is an outside entertaining area perfect for alfresco dining.

Guest access

Access to the house is via front door facing onto a quiet one way street.
A parking permit is provided for on street parking.

Interaction with guests

Guests will be met and greeted by the owner (Robyn) upon arrival who will show guests through the house and explain the logistics of living in the house .
Linen, towels, porta cot, high chair and stroller are provided.
A welcome hamper is also provided upon arrival.

The neighbourhood

Stroll down to Prahran market and purchase all your fresh produce for your stay or shop in Chapel Street, the fashion capital of Melbourne.
A 5 minute walk away enjoy Fawkner Park with numerous bike paths, children's playgrounds, tennis courts and lush green open spaces to enjoy a picnic.
At the end of the street there is a fantastic Cafe called Tall Timber with great coffee and food.
L'Hotel Gitan a famous Bistro pub/Restaurant is only a short walk from the house and highly recommended.
A 20 minute walk through Fawkner Park to the Royal Botanical Gardens where you can stroll through the gardens and feed the ducks or enjoy a meal and drink at the two cafes within the gardens.

Getting around

The tram at the end of the street takes 15 minutes, travelling along picturesque St Kilda Road to reach the Melbourne CBD. Whilst a 10 minute tram ride takes you to St Kilda beach.
There are many excellent restaurants, cafes and other eating establishments within easy walking distance of the house.
