Description

The space

It's a quiet place where you will enjoy the famous ' joie de vivre'; resting beside the pool (9x4m), playing 'petanque' (French boules) or cooking meals in the summer kitchen equipped with a charcoal BBQ and a plancha.
The house is surrounded by vineyards producing cote du Rhone.
The ground floor composes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with fireplace and a living room with another fireplace with insert. There is one bathroom + WC on the ground floor too.
On the second floor you will find the 4 bedrooms and another bathroom with WC. On the same floor and above the living room, there is a large entertainment room to relax with a book by the very large bay windows or playing with the pinball or futsball.
4 bedrooms are equipped with double bed each and on the 3d floor (loft conversion) the 5th (large) bedroom with 4 single beds.

The house is equipped with several televisions: 1 in the kitchen, 1 in 2 of the bedrooms (plus DVD players in case it rains) and a large plasma screen in the living room.
But you will not need them …

Its little sister, Arles (70km) is on the other side of the Rhone and is the city of Van Gogh.

We had a super great time at Ludovic's house! It is even bigger than it looks on the pictures, and the house is very well maintained and kept clean by Marie. This is the perfect spot for people who are looking for a quiet, silent and peaceful holiday in the middle of nowhere. Be warned: no shops, bakeries, tourism, or whatsoever in the near proximity, low cellphone coverage and poor wifi, but you 'll get absolute peace and rest in return! The outside kitchen is great asset, and we lived, cooked, ate, swam, read, played petanque,... most of the time outside. Very nice and safe for the kids as well, our daughter had the most wonderful time.

We had an unforgettable time in Ludovics stonehouse in June. We were two Icelandic families travelling to France for the Euro 2016. Four adults and five kids ages 3 to 13. The surroundings are amazing with vineyards and old stonehouses, and the house itself is located in a quiet neighborhood with only a few other houses. It's perfect to start the day with a morning jog and then throw yourself into the pool with the kids. Luckily the weather was great so we spent many hours around the pool and the lovely outdoor kitchen dining outside most of the time. The house itself is even more spacious than the pictures imply. A large fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sofas and big TV screen we're also amongst our favorite parts of the house. There's an really nice and clean aqualand in Montaux called Splashworld which we highly recommend to anyone traveling with children. The host Ludovic was very helpful making sure we had all information prior to arrival. We hope we'll have an opportunity to return to the stonehouse and create more memories. And we sencierly hope that our Saturday night nineties music hasn't disturbed the peace in Sabran. Thank you for this time.
