We are in a family building in the neighborhood of Vedado. We offer you an apartment with two air-conditioned rooms, each one with its own bathroom. Spacious and comfortable place ideal for families of friends traveling together. You're Welcome!

The space

Hello! We are in a family building in the neighborhood of Vedado, near the Malecon, this iconic promenade in Havana that bypasses the sea.
This is an apartment of the 50s completely renovated using local materials, antique furniture retyped or unique pieces manufactured by local artisans.
We have two air-conditioned rooms, each one with its own bathroom. There’s also an entrance hall, a living room, a kitchen-dining room and a balcony… a spacious and comfortable place ideal for families of friends traveling together.
The apartment is on the third and last floor (without elevator) and our family is at the first floor. So, while you will be completely independent, we will be not far to take care of everything concerning your stay at Home.

Guest access

You have access to the entire apartment

Interaction with guests

We are in a family three-storey building. You will be the third and last floor (without elevator) and the rest of the family is the first. We will be here to take care of everything concerning your stay in the apartment: breakfast, housekeeping, etc. and to assist you if you need help.

Other things to note

Breakfast is included in the price of the apartment and as you can see, we also have a kitchen in the apartment. However, if you love new tastes, we propose you a simple and fully homemade cuisine that will not leave you indifferent. A unique menu prepared mainly with local products. If you're interested, you should tell us at the time of booking or no later than the day before dinner.

Another thing, avoid drinking tap water. Although water is potable, generally we avoid drinking if not boiled to prevent disease. The best thing is just to buy bottled water. To do this we have several markets very close.

Cuba has a very particular dual currency system: the CUC or “convertible peso” and the CUP also known as “moneda nacional”. This may seem complicated, but our family will be there to give you all the details. To avoid any problem do NOT change your currency in a place other than the Exchange (CADECAS) or at the Bank, the only official entities to these purposes.

This home was fantastic, we unfortunately booked only one night and wished we could have stayed longer! Walking distance to the malicon and some good restaurants just a few blocks down. The home was extremely clean and our host took great care of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Denisse's place is beautiful. We were greeted by her mom who was very helpful in getting us set up. Breakfast every morning was delicious. We had scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, bread, fresh juice, and coffee. The apartment was decorated beautifully with vintage decor. There is no AC in the living room, but opening the windows gives a great breeze. The balcony also has some nice views of Vedado. The apartment is in a great location next Hotel Presidente. This was very helpful in telling the taxi drivers exactly where to drop us off. The apartment is located on the 4th floor which will definitely help to burn off all those calories from the moros y cristianos!

When looking for places to stay in Havana, pictures really spoke to us. That is why we insisted on staying at Denisse's residence. We opted for an airport pickup for 34 CUC, our driver was so amazing and patient - our friend was on a delayed flight but he was very understanding. Our communication was limited to our broken Spanish to his fluency. Nevertheless he did an excellent job taking the scenic route to the flat and even took us to the most amazing restaurant, El Classico, and answering our questions. Truly, Alberto was a great introduction to the island. Unfortunately Denisse was not in town, but her mom was a great host. She set up our initial breakfast and we worked with an employee moving forward. Again, the hospitality was immensely abundant. The flat is on the top floor so get ready to work this glutes and quads! The bathrooms and bedrooms were spacious and breakfast made all the difference before stating a day of exploring. The apartment is just beautiful, photo worthy. The location was optimal in terms getting around. El Presidente hotel was a great way of describing where taxis should drop us off, great for daily wifi (I recommend you buy a lot of wifi cards at once, it may sell out further into the week).

Denisse's place was exactly as described and made for a wonderful stay in Havana. We caught on to the fact that there is actually quite a bit going on in Vedado a little late in our trip. There are great restaurants and bars in Vedado and the location makes it easy to get a taxi to Havana as well. The apartment was very well kept and had everything we needed! Canchita was lovely and made fantastic breakfast! Would definitely stay here again!

This place is the PERFECT location for a great stay in Havana. It's right next door to the Hotel Presidente, which means wifi and a great patio for a meal or a drink. The apartment itself is BEAUTIFUL and has everything you could possibly need to be comfortable and relaxed on your visit.

Denise's place is just as it shows in the photographs. The beds are big and comfortable. The sitting room really good for just chilling. Vedado is just a short taxi ride from the main centres and there are a few good restaurants local to the Casa. I would recommend Porto Habana in the tower block that you can see from the Casa balcony. A great place to stay in a quieter part of the city and somewhere well worth staying at.

Hi everybody! , I'm Denisse, I'm Cuban and I live between Havana and Normandy, France, where I put some of my bags, for the moment ... I die for a good Tamales with pork rinds and beer and I absolutely love a good Camembert with a bon Bourgogne. As a “good Cuban”, I like to dance salsa -and I'm pretty good;-) ... and there is nothing that relaxes me more than the archery, sport that I practice regularly. I love to receive friends at home around a good meal, and am passionate about decoration, antique furniture and art ...
With our family, we decided to throw in this adventure “rent for holidays” in Cuba. The apartments we rent, were recently restored and fitted with everything needed for an exceptional stay.

See you soon!
