Guests will have access to most of the house; an open plan kitchen, living room and dining area that opens up onto the deck outside with glass 360 spectacular views over the Tsitsikamma Forest. Downstairs there is the double suite sleeping area with its own bathroom with a bath tub, and separate small outdoor seating area. The upstairs area has an outside bathroom with a shower and loo- this is only a few steps from the main house entrance.
Whilst the house does not have Wi-fi- it has full 3g mobile phone reception and there is wi-fi available at the Pepper Mill Restaurant; a 5 minute drive up the road. Enquire about our special TRIPLE COMBO - Tenikwa WILD CAT encounters, the ELEPHANT sanctuary and OUT TO SEA boat trip. Not to be missed when visiting the area !

Interaction with guests
Interaction with guests will be at the start and end of their visit, when the keys are handed over and they are introduced to the house, the area and Kuthumba. I am available on the phone throughout your stay if you have any queries or concerns.
Other things to note
Plettenberg bay is a twenty minutes drive away with its beaches bars and restaurants and beautiful special spaces like Emily Moon, Natures valley and its beach & lagoon is a 15 minute drive away (or a 2 and a half hour hike over the salt river). Whilst monkey land, tenikwa (cat sanctuary) birds of eden and the elephant sanctuary are all a 5-7 minute drive down the road. Not to be missed !!
It is worth noting that the house whilst beautifully equipped and stunning is an unusual non traditional design, with many open plan areas. The house has two dining areas, one inside and one outside, seating up to 8 comfortably. Beautiful Open plan lounge with large couches, and a spectacular view over the forest through glass window panels. Only one bed room in itself is separate from the main living area, situated downstairs with it's own bathroom, double bed and patio areas. The other two rooms comprise of a loft with a single bed and a semi-divided area from the main living space with a double bed. The main toilet and shower area is an outhouse 5 meters from the front door. The kitchen whilst having a full dinner set and cutlery and pots etc, is basic in that it is two gas stoves that are available at present. We are hoping to get a mini oven but this hasn't occurred yet.
7 minutes of the drive to the house is along a dirt road.
The house is therefore for the lovers of nature, the outdoors and the enjoyment of living with luxury items within an unusual setting.
