The space

Smiling + tiny, quiet, one bedroom aaaaand tipical 9th district "TUBE" flat on the route of the 4-6 tram, close to the Danube river.
The apartment was totaly renovated and refurnished 4 years ago and completed with a fixed & hanging "Sleeping centre" - where one of the super coconut (doublebed) matrace can be found.

It is on the TOP, 4th floor of the building - but there is a not too fast elevator. Very comfortable for 2, but can accomodate 3 or in extreme cases/after previous discussion/ 4 people too. Its light but there is not a view from the windows.

The green-white(while its in "Ferencvaros" - and the districts football club's colours are the same) bathroom's best part is the tropical shower :) - at least accoring to those, who have already stayed here. The kitchen is a basic one, although apart from the owen you can find everything like fridge, microwave owen with grill option, and if you have an unresistable desire to cook you can also use the electric, double hot plates.

The flat is calm, well fed and has a balanced past and a decent education :) - sorry got a bit tired had to wake up and if you are reading this hopefuly we'll meet so you'll see I am not a gloomy person. So its calm and quiet, although I must admit the walls could be thicker, sometimes you can hear the neighbours. And I have deal with them that we mutualy keep quiet after 24.00.

Some words and numbers about the great location:
3 minutes is the bank of River Danube (and the Nehru Park) if you feel like walking and watching the Sun set. Within 3 minutes you can reach the Museum of Applied Arts and in 5 the Holocaust Museum.
But you should not walk more than 3-5 min if you wanna try the bars and restaurants of the Raday or the Tompa streets.
However the Corvin Promenade and Mall + Cinema is within the 5 min range too. But some other walking distances just to have an idea:
Kálvin sqr: 8-10 min,
Corvin-negyed metro(blue line) stop: 3 min.
Tram 2("sightseeing tram" - runs along the bank of Danube) stop: 5 min
4-6 tram, Mester stop(runs all night!!!): 2 min. from the gate of the building.
Palace of Arts: 15 min.

The flat is said to be unique by the colours, the atmosphere plus the fixed&hanging sleeping centre solution.

Ask, come and try it! :)
I wish you a trip to Budapest with lots of relaxed and smiling moments!

Let the Sun shine upon Us!

Absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend it. We stayed for a whole month and will definitely come back next time we come to Budapest. What we loved: the internet was super fast and very reliable. The location is great - there's an Aldi 3 minutes walk away and the subway is even closer. You can walk to all the main spots of Budapest within 30 mins, or catch the subway. The shower has a really great pressure and the bed is comfy. The place feels really homely and the kitchen has pretty much everything you need. Robert and his fiance were really lovely and went out of their way to make us comfortable, including taking us to our bus stop when we left (at 6am in the morning!!) and walking us to Aldi so we knew where it was. Don't hesitate to book this place! You will love it!

Fantastic place, very comfortable, and easy to get around the city from the location! I enjoyed my six week stay here very much. There are tons of delicious and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Robert was an exceptionally nice and helpful host. I would highly recommend it for anyone staying in Budapest. Glad to have stayed here, hopefully I'll return next time I'm in Budapest.

Robert met us at the appartment and gave us great suggestions on things to do. He was a really nice host. The appartment was clean. The internet was usually good but went out a few times. The location was about 10 min from the center, but super reachable as the 4/6 tram was right there and seems to run all night. Aldi was close for groceries and a good pizza place was near.

Robert's apartment will be the best choice for student and tourist, for short or long term. I have been staying there for one month and everything was just great. It's tiny but super calm, convenient and quite place (it's important, especially if you're sensitive to sounds). However, it's still full of life outside. There are a lot of shops, groceries, bakery around and it easy to go anywhere ever by foot or by public transport. Robert is very responsive and helpful. Thanks and good luck! ;)

What to say? Robert and his Mom are the best host I've met, he was not there when we arrive but your mother (even if she can't speak) english, was there to help with everything. It was easy to communicate with him by phone, and before we leave, he came to visit us and to check if everything was going well. He present us his beautiful 2 years daughter and gave us two metro tickets for the next day (we were leaving early in the next morning and it was very helpful). He gave me good tips about places to visit and things to see and tried to follow his recommendations, specially because he works in the tourism area ;) The apartment was perfect! Very very clean, good size, good shower, good kitchen (supermarket 2 min walking distance), good bed, everything was working well, I was very lucky to staying there. Köszönöm Robert and family!!
