Travel Tip, When you have checked in at Provo for your short flight over to Grand Turk it is worth knowing that you don't need to go into the departure lounge until 20 minutes before scheduled departure time unless you are called, occasionally they may leave a few minutes early. If you have plenty of time you can go hang out in Gilleys Cafe right next door to the lounge area, they have free wifi, good food and refreshments. If you do find yourself in the lounge early or the flight is delayed you can ask to leave the area, it just means going through their security procedure again that takes 5 minutes!

Hazel and Sean's place, the Pelican house was a great choice. We stayed there for eleven days. Grand Turk is lovely. PH is centrally located. Close to everything... dive centres, beaches, restaurants and bars, grocery and convenience stores. My mother and I were traveling together. Mum has special dietary needs and we needed a place with our own kitchen. The place was well equipped and clean. Hazel was traveling at the time but her beau Sean was always available and very helpful. He gave us good suggestions and travel advice. Arranged us a cab ride to and from the airport. Restocked towels and sheets too. The govt tax to be paid on arrival is a norm in Grand Turk and other places have it too. It is clearly mentioned on their page on air bnb, so we knew about it and were expecting it. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and loved the island. We would highly recommend this place for stay if you are traveling to GT. Thank you Sean and Hazel ! GT is so picturesque, quiet, historic and low key. The locals are so friendly, helpful and reachable.

Hazel's place was really nice and cozy. We suggest you rent car to get around to places. It's a very quiet area. A place that you go to when you just want to relax. Hazel was very easy to contact. And if you needed help with anything all you had to was call or text. And you would receive an answer. Hazel's place is close to a grocery store. The beach is a two walk from Pelican House. Turk Islanders are very friendly people and helpful. They enjoy having visitors and explaining the history of their beautiful island. Overall our stay was great.

My husband and I stayed on Grand Turk for a portion of our honeymoon. Hazel's place was great. It was a 5 min walk to all restaurants and the boardwalk. We rented bikes and biked to the most gorgeous beach, Governors beach, which was only 10 mins away. The grocery store was also right across the street which was convenient. Hazel's place was very clean and cozy. She was also a great host. Very friendly and very easy to contact with any questions. She also had a lot of items on hand for general use which was very helpful when I forgot my hairdryer. I highly recommend staying here and we wouldn't hesitate visiting again.

The Pelican House is a great base camp for Grand Turk. An adventurer's stay in the Turks & Caicos, Hazel's apartments are the perfect place to start and end each day. An apartment within a small motel style complex, most necessities are provided. We made dinner two of our three nights in the apt: we bought the meat, sauce and spaghetti. The apt had the pots, pans, oil, salt, sponge and dish soap. Really easy place to bring a family as we traveled with our one year old. Hazel is knowledgeable about what to do and how to get there. I HIGHLY recommend renting a golf cart for each day you're there. So much fun driving around this tiny island. Do your research (or ask Hazel) about things to do or just drive around and see what you can find. The beaches are secluded and beautiful. Truly a beautiful and adventurous place. Bring your deet bug spray. You'll want it. Especially if it's supposed to rain. Hazel makes her own as well in case you forgot. Thanks for everything. We hope to be back soon!

Hazel was great, very helpful with booking taxis and tours for us. She also provided gear to use at the beach such as flippers and masks which was very nice. Pelican house is only a minute away on foot and close to a strip of shops and restaurants, we very much enjoyed our stay here.

The Pelicam Guest House a charming, quiet oasis that was perfect for our relaxing getaway. The beach is just across the street, and there are great amenities for cooking your own meals in the apartment. We'd recommend it!
