Response from Jim:
Tony, it was a real pleasure to host you for your stay in Sturgis during the Rally. Although our time together was short, we truly enjoyed meeting you and your family/friends and hope that if you have a chance to visit again, we may have an opportunity to host your stay in the Black Hills. You were perfect guests and we hope your trip was filled with great memories of the US, and in particular, the Sturgis Rally and the wonderful Black Hills....

I stayed at Jim's place with 5 friends. It was very good to each have our own room except for 2 guys who had to share a room with a bunk bed. The house was very clean and had plenty of amenities to make our stay convenient and comfortable. The location in Sturgis is great because it is separated from the heavy tourist areas of the Black Hills but still close enough to make the trip to see all of the major sights convenient. The house's front porch was a great place to relax. We bought our food at the grocery store in Sturgis and enjoyed our meals in the dining room. Downstairs was a great place to hang out at night watching a movie or playing a board game. We spent our days mostly touring around the major sights of the Black Hills using Jim's recommendations that made planning our trip very easy and successful. He welcomed us upon our arrival at night and was very helpful in answering our questions and giving us some tips about the sights in the Black Hills. I highly recommend this house in Sturgis for anyone looking to visit South Dakota.

Great spot to use as a home base to explore the Black Hills. Access to the garage was a real plus to keep our bikes safe and dry. Jim was very accommodating and accessible including sharing their favorite eating and sightseeing spots. One of the guys had car trouble and he was even able to recommend a local mechanic. The house was clean, comfortable and equipped with all the amenities you would expect making our shopping easy. We all loved the homemade jam! We would go back.

Jim graduated with a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been a professional Sales Representative in Healthcare and Information Technology for about 40 years. Retired in June, 2016 and plans to throw hooks in the water, hit the white ball, and hike and bike are on the retirement agenda.

Janeen graduated from Concordia College, in Moorhead, MN with a B.S degree in Medical Technology. She worked in many hospital labs as we moved from state to state early in marriage. When we settled in Austin, TX she was lab manager for 21 years at an OB/GYN clinic.

Family is our primary focus but love of the outdoors keeps us active with bicycling, snow skiing, fishing, golf, etc. We enjoy keeping active all year with vacations in the snow country.
