Guest access

English, Spanish, and Tiwa—a Native American language—are spoken here. But the universal language in Taos is art.

Taos, in north-central New Mexico, has been a thriving artists’ community since the early 20th century. One early artist in town was Nicolai Fechin, who passionately depicted the local landscape and Native Americans. WorldMark Taos is located behind his former home, which is now home to the Taos Art Museum.

Explore Taos and discover the beauty, the culture, and the people that make Taos and Northern New Mexico the Land of Enchantment. Seated in the high-desert mesa at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Taos is rich with art and steeped with history.

Taos Pueblo
Located just north of the Resort, Taos Pueblo is the only living Native American community designated both a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a National Historic Landmark. The multi-storied adobe buildings have been continuously inhabited for over 1000 years. Pueblo artisans work in clay, leather, wood, stone and on canvas. They are inspired by timeless traditions. 3mi.

Freddy's place is a beautiful place to rest and relax. It is walking distance to the plaza, good food and museums. We will stay here again!

We were disappointed the pictures did not match the room. The room was very small. We attempted to contact the renter upon arrival and he did not respond. Four days later he has still not responded to our message. The receptionists at the resort however were very friendly.

Response from Freddy:
The resort had recently been renovated at the time of this booking and the photos were from before the renovation. I have now updated the listing with current photos.

Great stay at Freddy's place even though it was short. We loved the options of the amenities. The room was a little cold and we had some problems with the heaters but one of the maintenance crews helped and it was fixed quickly.
