Come relax and enjoy the whole house with this listing. We live in a beautiful quiet Amish community. Lots of space to enjoy on our 8 acres of property. Enjoy having your morning coffee on our front porch. We have a small barn with goats and chickens that love attention. During the winter months we do not have the farm animals at the farm. We are 11 miles from Brookfield, 22 miles from Cooperstown, 23 miles from Hamilton College, 22 miles from New Hartford/Utica area.

The space
We have a total of 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that we rent as 1 unit in this listing. If you are not interested in renting the whole house, we do have separate listings. We have 1 bedroom (queen) on the first floor with a private suite. 4 bedrooms upstairs with one of the bedrooms having their own suite. The kid's room we call "Joshua's room" has a buck bed and a single. The bedrooms are spacious with 3 of the bedrooms having their own TV's. There is an area upstairs with a mini refrigerator, Keurig coffee pot, snacks and a microwave for your convenience. Downstairs we have lots of space for everyone. 2 living rooms, a play area for the Kido's, spacious dining room, large kitchen with a small dinette area and a large laundry room that you are welcome to use. From November 5th to April 15th the 5th bedroom on the first floor is not available due to the cold weather my husband and I accommodate that room.

Guest access
We have a lovely farmhouse porch for you to enjoy your morning coffee. We have 2 large Livingroom areas to enjoy with your friends and family. There is a large kitchen / dining room you can enjoy having your family meals.

Other things to note
We ask that you enter in the front door where we will give you the code that will unlock the door once you make your booking. For this listing you can come in any time after 3p and enjoy the house as if it was your own.
When the whole house is rented, my husband and I are on the property where we stay in our large camper. We have our own entrance in the back of the house where we use the 4th bathroom that is away from our guest area. My husband and I work FT and are there only in the evenings and early morning hours. We love to share our home with others, however we do not allow PARTY"S.
We live on a farm. There for we do have some animals such as Goats, Chickens, a small Pug and Chocolate lab.
Emmy and Jenny are therapy dogs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
A continental breakfast is available 7 days a week. Fresh eggs, butter, cream cheese, bagels, fresh fruit, muffins, fresh milk and half-half from a local farm store and coffee/tea are available for you to enjoy. You may use the kitchen as your own and prepare the eggs to your liking.
We are only 11 miles for Barnes Barn wedding Venue. 22 miles from Cooperstown and 23 miles from Hamilton College.

I'm obsessed with: I have 16 grandchildren.
My Husband and I purchased this home with the idea we would share it with others. We have 4 grown children and 16 grandchildren. My husband is a retired dairy farmer and is now a milk truck driver. I work with individuals with developmental disabilities in a village setting called Pathfinder Village. We love meeting new people and making new friend.
