Interaction with guests
Due to work and an active social life, I am frequently not at home. I hope this reflects my feeling of trust at having you as guests in my home and also removes that sense of the 'Hovering Host'. I do however, always make an attempt to meet you, as that is the best part of hosting. Many wonderful people have passed through my front door and I feel honored to have met them.
With that being said, please do not hesitate to call or text with questions or concerns. Having called Traverse City home for 40 years, I will be happy to help make your stay memorable. Restaurant recommendations, directions, what's happening in the area? - just ask.

Hello and welcome to Traverse City, truly one of the most beautiful places in America! I have lived here most of my life and look forward to sharing my local knowledge to make the most out of your visit.
I am an active person, taking advantage of the many recreational opportunities this area provides. Hiking, biking and kayaking are my favorite summertime activities. When I am home cooking or doing chores, the stereo is usually playing the blues.
I am a very social person, embracing the Cherry Festival, and Traverse City Film Festival and all the people these festivals bring to our little community.
Becoming an Airbnb host has been a truly enriching experience. I have met people from every corner of the world and from all walks of life.
I look forward to meeting you!
