About this listing
Less than half an hour from Copenhagen center our house is the perfect base for a family or friends visiting. With 175 square meters the residence is big enough for 4-6 people and it offers an entire floor for children with a 2015-renovated bathroom.
Our neighbors call our house "The Pancake House" - maybe because it looks a bit like something from a fairytale. Situated in Holte north of Copenhagen (25 minutes away on the train) our place offers the perfect base for a family wishing to see our lovely capital, but at the same time having the benefits of being near forests, lakes and the rest of Zealand attractions like the Elsinore castle from Hamlet or the Louisiana (art museum). We are a family of four normally living here, and with our children being 7 and 8 years old, the house is perfectly fitted with toys and such. The master bedroom is situated on the ground floor, while the children have an entire floor to themselves, including a newly renovated (2015) bathroom. The house is a traditional Danish brick house with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace and a lovely garden with a BBQ and a swing for the kids.
Should you require a crib for a toddler, we can naturally provide one. The house has parking in the driveway and the nearest train station is only 15 minutes away on foot. From here trains leave for Copenhagen every 10 minutes.
As we are a family living here, we naturally have dishwasher, dryer and washing machine which you are encouraged to use.
You will have access to our entire house.
No pets and no smoking inside.
We are a family of four living outside Copenhagen. Christian & Sara (parents) both work in the city and commute daily while the children go to the neighoorhood school (5 mins away). We have lived in our house for almost two years and we simply LOVE it. As a family we try to travel as much as possible, and we have on several occasions rented apartments/houses from AirBNB. Now we have decided to open our home to travellers from around the globe. Welcome !
