Blind Harbour is a cosy seafront house in a quiet corner of Union Hall. It is a peaceful sanctuary in the South-West of Ireland surrounded by beautifully unspoilt nature. Puffins, sea-otters, Baskin-sharks and Seals are all commonly sighted in Blind Harbour Bay, with a daily Dolphin and Whale watching boat tour just 400m from the house in Reen Pier. The calm water in the bay is perfect for kayaking and fishing, with a small sandy beach, locally known as Push Beach, just 5 minutes away.

The house is in an amazing location. It is really comfortable and welcoming and was immaculate when we arrived. The showers in particular are amazing! The view is stunning, there's loads to do around the area. We just absolutely loved staying here. There is lots of friendly hints and tips for things to do, and the house is well stocked with games. The host was extremely helpful always and there is a local contact to help with anything during your stay who is also very friendly and accommodating. An excellent property - beautifully furnished and situated.

Amazing house has everything you could ever need. If you are visiting West Cork don't miss out on this absolute treasure. Ciara is superb throughout the booking also. Can't wait to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blind Harbour. We had a three day stay with 7 children. The house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed to keep them happy, wi-fi, Sky TV, board games, kayaks, not to mention the big garden with loads of scope for running around and playing football etc. I would definitely return for a longer stay and would highly recommend this house.

This is a beautiful home, inside and out, with a strikingly beautiful view of the ocean. Food was excellent in the small town nearby. There is a grocery store and this home is a wonderful choice for relaxation. We would come back!

What a beautiful seaside home! The views are spectacular, and you can enjoy them from pretty much anywhere in the house--while lying in bed, dining outside, having a coffee on the balcony. Really a picture perfect setting. My kids loved the direct beach access, perfect for climbing, looking for shells, skipping stones. Our time there was short, but we were able to take out the row boat and kayaks and explore the coast a bit. It was really nice to have free access to those. Though not far in terms of time, the house does feel a bit remote, and you can't really walk to anything, but the town of Union Hall is just a short drive and there are a couple of restaurants and a grocery store for any supplies. There was no cell service at the house, but we were able to make calls over wifi so that worked for us. The house is very spacious and clean, well stocked with all the basics for your stay. Jean who greeted us was lovely, and Ciara responded immediately to any communication. There were no real issues, just questions about minor things (turning on hot water, wifi/TV functions, etc) and they were answered promptly. One thing we did have trouble with was the coffee machine. There seemed to be an adapter missing, so we had to get creative to make it work. A French press would be a great addition! Other than that it was a perfect stay:) I highly recommend staying at this Blind Harbour house. I hope to return one day with more time to explore West Cork!
