Malbec - a large, airy double room with exposed beams and en-suite shower room in our chambres d'hôtes. We offer bed and breakfast, eating in our dining kitchen. Between Bordeaux and Bergerac, it's an ideal base for exploring the wine region
Gorce is a 200 year old former barn set among vineyards and only 5 - 10 minutes from town. We offer a peaceful retreat in a rural vineyard setting, without being remote from the facilities of modern life.
Malbec is a large (17 sq m) private double room with en-suite wc/shower room; towels and linen are supplied. A cot can be supplied - please request on booking.
Breakfast is held in the family kitchen, where you can help yourself to coffee or tea throughout the day.
Relax in the family lounge, hall seating area or the shaded terrace overlooking the garden.
There is a large plasma HD TV in the lounge with both French and English language TV.
You are 5 minutes from two small towns, Gensac and Pellegrue, with 5 restaurant/bars between them, and 10 minutes from Sainte-Foy-la-Grande with many more to choose from typically French, Italian and Chinese food.
You can while away some time on our terrace, in the sun or in shade, use our lounge to watch TV and help yourself to tea and coffee in the kitchen.

I moved to France to get away from the nine to five grind, and I live in the most peaceful surroundings possible. There are deer and rabbits running through the vineyards that surround us, hawks hovering over them and the sun is warm on my face for nine months of the year. I spend my time doing things I enjoy, for myself, instead of for a boss, and I love it!
