Our studio is located in the heart of Poblenou in Barcelona. The studio space sits in a vibrant, artsy & creative neighbourhood just 5 minutes from the beach. There are 3.5 meter ceilings & 350 windows and 200+ sqm of space for you to enjoy during your stay.

Poblenou is an up an coming neighbourhood, with small cafes, art studios and a pedestrian street with many restaurants and bars, and we've come to absolutely fall in love with it.

The space

The loft was before we moved in, a dark and dirty old factory for cutting and burning in metal. The guest room was the old office to the main hall, and the main hall is now transformed into a big open space, that contains, kitchen, dining area, sofa and tv, office space, and our bed area.

The space is on the first floor, not on the street level, and has 3.5 meter high ceilings features almost 400 windows pointing out towards the crossing and also inwards towards the center of the block.

We do enjoy afternoon sun, and the mornings we have sun shining into the kitchen windows.

We've kept a lot of the industrial fittings in the space, and a lot of the furniture we've implemented goes in an industrial design line. The kitchen is very contemporary and designed out of warehouse shelves. One should not forget that it used to be an Industrial space up until earlier this year, and it's not a normal apartment with a lot of small rooms. It's one big open plan, except the guest room that is separate.

Guest access

As a guest in our home, you have full access to the Guest room, with a private entrance and exit. You also have access to the rest of the apartment, which have a small bathroom with a shower and toilet. A big open kitchen, dining area, sova & TV area, and loads of space. Since there is no bathroom in direct access to the guest room, you need to share the bathroom with us. The roof terrace is not available for use, it's private and belongs to the gentleman on the top floor.

Interaction with guests

We are usually very available and love to interact with our guests. Sometimes however we do have plans, and might not be able to interact as much as we would like to. Also we respect if you've got plans, and don't have time to interact with us, but we do love to at last try to have one proper meal together, either a brunch or a evening snack.

Other things to note

One thing to remember is that we are having our business registered in the space, we are freelancers, and work from home, but if someone asks, you are simply friends visiting us.

Jenni & Linus were amazing hosts and welcomed us into their home immediately (the bottle of cava was also a lovely little surprise). They were around when we needed them and provided us with some great information about some restaurants to go to. The location of the apartment was great and was close to some lovely little coffee shops, restaurants and the beach. Also a few seconds walk from the metro, which was super handy. Thanks so much for a great few days and best of luck for the future!! :) Katie & Rosie xxx

We had a great time staying with Linus and co. They're super chilled, but are always there if you need them. The apartment being so close to the beach was a bonus, we regularly enjoyed the sunset at the beach. Defo would book again.

Having stayed for over a week, Linus & Jenny (and their friends) made me wish my (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) back home were just as interesting! Both really inspiring individuals which I'll be happy to cross paths with again! I was there during Barcelona's annual Open House event, and I was wondering why their place wasn't a part of it! Great location, bright and spacious room, and welcoming shared space. They even provided an eye mask and ear buds if you want to shut yourself off, completely heh

We loved the loft studio and it was everything that Linus described and even better. We adored the stylish living space that he and Jennie have created so imaginatively and they were very welcoming hosts. The double beds in the separate room were comfortable and we had access to kitchen ( ad coffee) when we needed it. We thought the area of PobleNou where the studio is located is extraordinarily special and I would move there in an instant. It has such a lively, creative feel that retains a community vibe and its easy access to the beach for a swim in August was bliss. I hope to visit again as soon as my holiday schedule permits it. A fantastic experience!

Linus & his partner were warm, friendly welcoming hosts. The nightbourhood feels safe to walk around. Loads of great cafes, a new yoga place, good food market, bakeries, organic whole food shops etc. are a short stroll away. It is a popular residential area for young (URL HIDDEN) lots of children around! The apartment is a former warehouse space and is well represented in the photos. It is very easily found by entrance to the Metro. The guest bedroom is a seperate area with two double beds. It's a fabulous , very cool space with lots of natural light but the downside Is that it can be difficult to sleep if you are sensitive to light and the bustle of street noise. I would happily stay here again.

I'm a 30 year old wanderer currently living in Barcelona together with my wonderful girlfriend Jennie. We decided earlier this year to move down to Spain, and say goodbye to the cold climate in Scandinavia. So here we are, staying in a huge industrial, New York inspired loft …
