Business
I am a nutritionist, chef and author that loves working with the land and food. I cooked my way round France, Switzerland & America before running an organic restaurant on the Welsh/Herefordshire borders for 30 years. It was the first restaurant to be certified organic by the Soil Association and won The You magazine Organic Restaurant of the Year Award in 2002. I studied nutrition at The British School of Medicinal Nutrition and have been a nutritional consultant for 25 years. In 2010 I founded the Greencuisine Trust to bring people together around the table for conversation and in-depth thinking around our relationship to food, cooking, culture, bio-diversity and agriculture. The Trust facilitates innovative educational programmes and projects to grow a deeper understanding and knowledge of the importance of food culture wwwgreencuisinetrust.org For fifteen years I have run with Romy Fraser, initially at Neal's Yard Remedies and now at Trill Farm in Devon ' Living Nutrition' - a food course that teaches how harmonising with the seasonal rhythms of food is best for our health and that of the planet. In Spring 2016 my latest book– Living Food – a feast for soil & soul will be published I love sharing good food and look forward to sharing food with you.
