This stellar home with majestic mountain views is just minutes from downtown Breckenridge and the Breckenridge ski resort. It has remodeled kitchen and bathrooms with granite countertops and hickory cabinets.

The space

It has a vaulted ceiling in the living room and an enormous deck with tons of sunshine. And if your group consists of two families traveling together, you're sure to appreciate the two fully-stocked kitchens!

The house sits up high on a hill so the views from the entire house make you feel like you are so close to the mountains you could almost touch them. The home has this great modern rustic ski cabin vibe that lets you know that you are definitely in the High Country. The location is 4 miles to the town of Breckenridge so you have all of the amenities you need in close proximity, although you still get the serenity you crave in the mountains. Hiking and Biking trails are right out your door.

Guest interaction is limited, but we are always here to help if you have a problem. We don't have a check-in or check-out; you will go straight to the unit and let yourself in using the lock box code.

The bed configuration is as follows:
Master bedroom (second floor): king bed and twin day bed with bathroom en suite
Second bedroom (main floor): twin bed and twin bunks with adjacent bath
Third bedroom (walkout-level basement): queen bed with adjacent bath
Sofa bed (walkout-level basement): queen

An SUV with 4-wheel-drive is recommended during winter months. The road and the driveway to the house are dirt, but the snow is plowed. Even still, if you're driving to the house before the plow has gotten there, you might be glad to have the extra ground clearance that an SUV provides.

NOTE: The listed 2-night minimum does not apply to all times. At certain times of the year we have a longer minimum; however, we can often accommodate stays as short as 2 nights on weeknights, or last-minute requests, or if your stay fits well into the calendar. For these reasons, we accept short stays all the time. If you'd like a short stay, go ahead and inquire and we'll do our best to accommodate you or refer you to a similar property that can accommodate you.

USE. The premises will be used as a temporary residence for no more than 10 persons.

4-WHEEL-DRIVE. Tenant acknowledges that he/she has been advised that an SUV with 4-wheel-drive is recommended during winter months. The road and the driveway to the house are dirt, but the snow is plowed.

DRIVEWAY ACCESS. Tenant understands that vehicular access to the top of the driveway is not guaranteed. Depending on snow conditions, Tenant may have to park at the bottom of the driveway and access the house by way of exterior stairs. Cars parked at the bottom of the driveway shall not block the driveway at any time. Vehicles that cannot be parked legally and out of the way of the snow plow must not be parked anywhere in the subdivision.

PARKING. Vehicles belonging to Tenant or Tenant’s guests will not be parked on the roadway at any time. Cars may be parked at the top or bottom of the driveway, but no vehicle shall block the driveway at any time. Recreational vehicles, motor homes, campers, trailers, etc. may not be parked in the driveway or street at any time.

PARTIES. No parties shall be held on the premises without the prior written consent of Stay Summit. No more than 12 persons shall be present on the premises at any time.

ANIMALS. No animals will be brought on the premises without prior consent of Stay Summit.

SMOKING. Tenant or his or her family, invitees, or guests will not smoke anywhere inside or around the structure, including any garage, decks and common areas. Smoking inside the unit will result in a $500 charge plus all necessary cleaning and odor elimination costs.

MINIMUM AGE. Tenant represents that Tenant is at least 25 years of age.

This cabin has amazing views. It is very clean and organized. A bit off the beaten path so that is nice as well. Mark is a great host.

Great location, about 10 min from Main Street. Plenty of space and a good layout for having a group of people staying together.

This was a great place to relax after spending the day snowboarding/skiing at Breckenridge. It's in a quiet neighborhood with an picturesque view of the mountains. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal. The internet was pretty fast and the flatscreen TV in the living room worked well. We were even surprised to find that firewood for the wood stove was provided! The queen size beds had comfortable mattresses and sheets. The mattresses on the bunk beds were not as comfortable, but still alright. The driveway can be difficult to drive on when there's new snow on the ground, but someone came by and plowed it every day, which helped out quite a bit. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip and the time we spent at this house.

I would like to mention for the benefit of future guests that while you did find firewood at the house, we do not guarantee that it will always be stocked with firewood. Firewood can typically be purchased at local gas stations and supermarkets.

My family stayed at the Blue River property and absolutely loved it. We made some great memories in this house and cannot wait to come back. It's a beautiful property with amazing views and the best part is it's just minutes from Breckenridge. The driveway also made for a great sledding track! Can't wait to come back!

We had a great time visiting Blue River! Just a few minutes to Main in Breck and far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Snowfall on Saturday meant that the steep driveway became a great sledding hill for my kiddos. Great visit!
