Øyvind was very helpful, always answered our questions quickly and had several suggestions for nearby activities. The cabin is rustic but charming, and has a well equipped kitchen. The boat in the dam next to the cabin is great fun for the kids!

Although our host was not there when we arrived, we had no problem finding and getting into the hytta and he was very nice and welcoming when we talked on the phone. He also made some great suggestions about activities to do in the area. The description is humble and does not do the hytta justice, when we arrived it was much nicer inside than we had expected! The location is fantastic, and we did the Romsdaleggen hike which is unbelievably beautiful and even taking tons of photos and breaks we finished in under 7hours. One of our group was injured and so some ended up on a shorter hike to Litlefjellet which also had breathtaking views. Trollteigen is only a short drive away and definitely worth a visit while you are here. The hytta even has a small rowboat and you can enjoy a paddle around the little lake there. Our group really loved this place and I would definitely come back.

Thank you for really nice words, Michael. And thanks for the feedback. I will update the information and put some more pics from the inside of the huts. Welcome back, an remember that Isfjorden is a great place for skiing on the surrounding mountains :) Øyvind
