About this listing
Mini Murton House is a converted dog friendly barn situated in the peaceful village of Murton.
The barn retains many original features, with exposed beams and large barn door.
Cosy wood burning stove, fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 mezzanine level)
We live just next door, so if you need help with the wood burner or have any queries, please just knock and ask.
If you want to book a week, please ask for prices.
You have your own south facing patio, which has joint access.
Interaction with guests
We are happy to help with the wood burner, ideas on best places to visit maps and guide books are available too. If you have children this is a great place to stay and my boys love showing guests around the village and showing them the best places to play and where they have a den!
Other things to note
There are fantastics walks straight from your front door, go down the beck (stream) and have a picnic. Or go up Murton Pike for wonderful views of the Eden Valley.
Please let me know if you are bringing bikes, so I can store them in the lockable stone shed (old pig sty) and make a key available for you too.
Arrival time is after 4pm, check out by 10am.
Parking is for one car only, there is additional parking available in the village.
Please park in the parking appropriately so we can park one of our cars next to it.
We live in a tiny village that we love, but a down side is that the internet is not at all great! When guests stay we tend not to use any appliances that may take wifi away from you, we do hope this will not deter you from staying and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

I love living in Cumbria, with the amazing views I see everyday.
I am quite a busy Mum with 2 boys that love football (as we all do in our family).
I love to go walking, cycling, orchid hunting around cumbria and watch my boys play football. Also baking, making jewellery and when I get the chance to do some knitting!
My favourite holiday destination is India and I can't wait to take my family there to enjoy the wonderful scenery, culture and hospitality.
