Welcome to my South Lake Tahoe home under the tall pines. Three bedrooms and 1&1/2 baths, big deck & backyard. Ski Heavenly Mountain, visit beautiful Lake Tahoe beaches, explore on hiking trails & paved bike paths. Casinos and golf courses nearby.
The house is in a quiet wooded South Lake Tahoe neighborhood near the intersection of Hwy 50 & Hwy 89. Located in the Gardner Mountain community with a filtered mountain view through the tall pines.
Living Room: Just inside the front door is a fireplace, a leather couch /sleeper sofa, two leather recliners and a large flat screen TV-- kick back and relax.
Dining Area: easily seats six people. There are board games, cards and puzzles in a cabinet in the dining room area.
Wifi/Cable TV/Sonos Music: High speed WiFi and a Sonos music system throughout the house (download the app, it's great!). Basic cable, Roku/Netflix/Amazon Prime available on the TV.
Kitchen: Like to cook? You will enjoy the recently remodeled kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances. Please note-- NO dishwasher. Kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much everything you can think of. Coffee maker, microwave, pots & pans, dishes, stemware & glasses, etc. Feel free to use any food, condiments, spices, etc you find. Gas grill on deck.
Laundry room: Washer/dryer is right off the kitchen, laundry soap in cabinet about washer.
Bedrooms: Three. Main floor has a spacious bedroom with a queen bed and large closet. On the second floor upstairs you will find two more bedrooms-- one large one smaller-- with a queen and full bed. Old knotty pine walls upstairs are part of the original home and give it a woodsy cabin feel.
Bathrooms: 1.5. On the main floor there is a full bathroom with shower and tub, There is also a small half bath upstairs.
Deck/Backyard: Big deck with gas grill, table and chairs and a tree growing through the center. The backyard is 200 feet deep woods and wildlife abounds! Keep an eye out for the bears hanging out in a favorite tree. There was a mama bear and two cubs last summer hanging out in the tree.
You will have access to the entire house and large deck. There is also a large backyard with tall fir & pine trees (not fenced).

Other things to note
Snow Removal: There is a professional snow removal service that will keep the driveway and walkways clear. If there is any issue with snow removal please contact me immediately. If needed, there is a snow shovel kept available for your use.

I love my little house in the pines. It's furnished with my personal belongings and I often stay here. Please treat it with respect and kindness and be mindful of noise--our neighbors are our friends. Maximum two vehicles in driveway, no street parking in winter.
This is not a party house, there are plenty of places to party in Tahoe, the village, casinos, bars-- but not in my home. Please note, the caretaker for our home is also my next-door neighbor. Also, The City of South Lake Tahoe VHR (vacation home rental) Enforcement Officer issue citations and fines for noise, parking, occupancy or trash complaints.
-- SMOKING is NOT allowed in my home, the yard, on the deck or anywhere on my property.
--No more than six persons can stay overnight in the property. Any person visiting the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
--Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Do not move furniture around. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
--Winter Season Parking: If snow removal is in progress. street parking is not permitted by local ordinance. Cars in the way of snow removal equipment on any street are subject to towing, impound fees, and parking fines.
--Gas Fireplace. Please do not throw any combustible materials in or burn wood in the gas fireplace.
This home is privately owned; the homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Homeowners will not be liable for injuries resulting from slips or falls on slippery surfaces or from falling snow or ice. Ice and snow are a common occurrence in the winter season but can occur anytime throughout the year at Lake Tahoe. Guests must use extreme caution during times of ice and snow to avoid slipping or falling on slick surfaces and injuries resulting from snow and ice falling from roofs, trees, or other objects.
Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. I highly recommend four wheel drive/ all wheel drive and/or chains during the snow/winter months. I do not refund due to road conditions.
Parties, Loud, or Unruly Behavior: This property is in residential neighborhoods and may not be used for weddings, receptions, or parties. Loud or unruly behavior is restricted by local ordinance and may result in citation or arrest by local law enforcement. Alcohol in the possession of minors is not permitted; as well as illegal possession of controlled substances by any guest. Breach of these provisions could result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement and the forfeiture of rents.
