Bethany Cottage is perched on the hill overlooking the bowl of Bath, with Bristol just a stones throw away. Our guests wake up to gorgeous views of the rolling Somerset countryside .Expect a very friendly West Country welcome and delicious breakfast
Bethany is a relaxed country cottage with a vintage twist. It used to be a worker's cottage for a nearby country estate but has been much modernised and expanded since. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city so if you are looking for relaxation Bethany is for you. But you can dip into heritage, culture, countryside, great dining and maybe even a spot of cider tasting whenever you want. There are two bathrooms shared between two guest rooms, each with a shower, toilet and sink.
Guests are free to use their room throughout the day. They can also relax in the lounge and use the garden and summer house at their leisure.
Guests staying for a week or more can also have access to the kitchen and have space allocated in cupboards and a fridge. We also have space to store and wash down bikes or motorbikes.
Interaction with guests
We would be more than happy to help you plan your stay and can make recommendations for places to eat and drink if you let us know what you like. I work in heritage so can give you the inside view on the things to do in the area - it's my job!
