Lovely hosts, Kathleen and Paul will make you feel at home immediately. Our living spaces were spotless and very comfy and the neighborhood is beautiful and central. We shall return!

Kathleen's home is really lovely: artful, and beautifully landscaped. The guest bathroom is spacious and luxurious although the jets in the whirlpool tub weren't working. But no matter, it was a nice big tub and separate roomy shower to enjoy! I did not get to meet Kathleen, but their house-sitter, Chuck, was a kind host and easy to share the space with (although I had the whole front of the house to myself.) My only challenge with room is that the heater is very noisy when it comes on so if you are going to be there during a cool time of year, perhaps bring some ear plugs. Other than that, two thumbs up for this great place. I'll be back !

Response from Kathleen:
Thanks Ben for letting me know about the heater. My son who lived in the room is deaf So I guess I do remember it was an issue but had forgotten :). I will call my fix-it guy.

What these nice people say about their place is accurate. Enjoyed the peaceful environment in a beautiful upscale neighborhood of mostly Spanish style homes. The bed was temporpedic (sp?) and fabulous. The host couple were very nice, willing to chat if you want, very respectful of boundaries. They let me cook my food, which I very much appreciated. No other food (except coffee) provided. They are currently without animals, which I require due to my allergies. They expect to get a dog in a few months, perhaps. Can't recommend these people or their home more.

This was my brother and my first bed and breakfast and it was awesome. Very nice living conditions and very respectful of our stay. Thanks a lot!

Kathleen's place is so inviting, filled with lovely furnishings and decor and all the amenities one could want. The sunny bedroom, comfy mattress and private spa-like bath make for a restful spot where one can unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and all that Kensington and San Diego have to offer. I only wish we had more time to enjoy it all. We hope to be back to San Diego soon and hope that when we are Kathleen's lovely home will be available. Perfect!

I am almost a local in San Diego, been here 30 years. I host with my husband Paul. I love to walk. I am really attached to my Fitbit. I have traveled extensively and worked in India.
