Nice and comfortable loft in Pantheon zone. It has a living zone with a double sofa bed and a sleeping zone with a double bed on the loft. The space is wide and comfortable for 4 people. A Romantic stay also for young couple in Rome city center.

The space

The space is a wide loft very nice for a couple but also for a young family. Very cheap solution for a great stay in a place where all is walking distance.

Umberto's place is in a good location. However if your looking for that personal touch that Airbnb hosts usually provide then you will find this somewhat lacking. Umberto has a number of properties and it is a full commercially run business so there is no local knowledge provided.

Great place, less than 5 mins walk from the Pantheon. Air conditioning not brilliant, but that'd be my only issue with the flat. Nowhere to leave bags upon check out. But these are minor issues, would definitely stay here again!

We were met by Sebastien at the apartment after arriving in Rome by train. It was easy to locate and the address was accurate. As described, there is no lift to the apartment on the third floor but this was ok for us. The apartment itself was as described and had everything we needed. There was a strange smell from the shower drain but nothing too unpleasant. Our main issue was the wifi, the details provided didn't work (incorrect password)! We tried to contact Umberto, messaging and calling, and eventually when he answered he didn't respond to us then hung up. We called Sebastien as we had his number from check in and he contacted Umberto and managed to get wifi details for another wifi in the building (I'm not sure if Umberto owns more apartments in the same building with different wifi). The only issue with this was we had to either stand in the corridor or literally pressed up against the door to access this. We tried contacting Umberto again but had no response. The television also didn't work particularly well with limited channels (not Italian ones) which was frustrating as we wanted to watch the Olympics. Apart from those issues, the apartment itself was fantastic. It's located 5/10 minutes from piazza navona, the pantheon and Spanish steps and was a perfect base for our time in Rome. It's also probably worth mentioning that there is a hairdryer, despite it saying otherwise on Airbnb!

Umberto's loft was in a really desirable location (the pizza place opposite was delicious!) 3 of us stayed and we found it to be spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning was a big bonus! There is quite a lot of stairs up to the loft but we didn't find these to be too much of an issue. As three young woman, we felt incredibly safe and would definitely return!

It is nearby Pantheon and you can easily get to Trevi and downtown area. Did not have any unexpected problems. One minor thing, its sitting on the top of 5 story building with no elevator. When you are super tired after walking and touring all day, this also can be challenging. Everything else is great!! Would come back for another stay!!

A great apartment located very centrally within Rome. The apartment was very liveable. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty at times but aside from this one minor issue it was great!
