Perfect location! La'Tia was the best host. Anytime I needed anything she would get back to me almost immediately. The location is in the heart of West Hollywood -- very safe, pleasant neighborhood. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

This is a nice, secluded place to sleep, cook breakfast and explore West Hollywood, with Santa Monica Blvd. only a block north. Private parking is a real plus, but things are quiet, secure and it serves as a great home base if you are vacationing in central LA. Beverly Hills shopping is a 15-minute drive away and the neighborhood has a great variety of restaurants. Hollywood and Sunset are just north of the apartment. If a small family or couple are looking for a few days where they want to save money on a hotel, this is a great choice. La Tia is a fine host and makes you feel absolutely at home. I'd make this choice again on another LA trip.

The host La Tia is the best part of the experience. Though not in town to greet us she made our last minute booking possible. Check in was easy with the contact of her assistant. We communicated via phone and texts and our exchanges were prompt and professional. Her place is an older apartment, which can use some tlc for the price charged. Location is great though. We felt safe and we'd close to the places we wanted to go, even by walking. The use of space, however, can be more functional , for instance, if there's an actual table (instead of just a glass bar table)to have a meal and a better arranged kitchen. Overall cleaning can be improved. The only bedroom was a bit cluttered and was a bit of an disappointment overall compared to the hip, funky and bright space we saw on the pictures. The front door lock needed to be juggled a bit in order to work , and the gate won't lock, which we already knew with prior comment from another guests. There are a few panel of glasses on the window that needed to be replaced. We were told not to move or use the towels on the rack in the bathroom as they were for decorative purposes only, which leaves only one hook to put all our used towels for three guests. Have to lay them all over the house. The space looks good in pictures but overall it's just not very functional except for a place to sleep and take a hot shower, with which the bathroom is adequately stocked and shower is powerful with nice hot water. We were going to cook a little breakfast before heading out but the pots and pans and kettle are either rusted or not very clean. We ended up just boiling some eggs. This is a place good for 1-3 guests that love to explore the west Hollywood area. One of us stayed behind for the Halloween weekend and the experience was awesome. The free shuttle stops right on Santa Monica Blvd just two blocks away. La'Tia and her cousin are easy and professional to communicate with. We have a few issues and questions and she made sure those were resolved. If the space can be fixed up a bit and be more attentive to the details that would be worth the price to stay for the area.

PROS: Even though La'Tia was traveling at the time of my stay, she was accommodating and helpful as far as staying in contact by phone, text, or Face Time. The apartment is decent size for 1-2 people and is decorated with some colorful eclectic pieces. The area seemed to be safe & quiet from what I could tell. There are many shops, restaurants, etc. in walking distance. Lyft & Uber are readily available. Towels, shampoo & soap were provided! CONS: I had some trouble locking the front door everyday, which at first, freaked me out. Door must be lifted to be locked. Screen door does not lock at all. I do not think the cleaning crew is doing such a great job. The oven and tea kettle were dirty and i could not make use of them. Tissues & toilet paper should be better stocked. The "private patio" was not really private or a patio at all. No space to sit to enjoy the view of the banana tree. I did not realize that the listed washer & dryer were not in the apartment, but in a separate room on the other side alley of the apartment building. Overall, my stay was fine & the apartment is enjoyable. There are just a few issues that need to be resolved/kept up with to warrant 5 stars. A better cleaning crew & new locks for the front doors would have made for a perfect stay!

I loved staying in La'Tia's apartment. It was exactly as described, and it couldn't have been in a better location! It was walkable to everything that I needed..such great food, shopping, and fitness options near Melrose. I always felt safe, neighbors were friendly, and the parking spot was great. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone needing a place to stay in WeHo!
