Those who really want to take some deviation to woods and get some peace where (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) does not own you :) - This place is for you. Her pets are really friendly and intelligent. Robin is an awesome host. Thanks !!! Please follow her instructions to reach the place - GPS wont help you !!! :)

You truly get the full experience of living in the mountains when you stay in Robin's place - scenic views, no Internet, infrequent cell service. As beautiful as her home and its surroundings were, having Robin as a host was the best part. My friend and I spent a couple of days in TN/NC expecting not to get too much done in such a short period of time, but Robin (a long time local) knew the best places to go to in the area. We had a great experience and a jam packed schedule, all thanks to her! She truly is a kind soul and showed us what "Southern hospitality" means. For the days we stayed with her, we felt like her home was our home. As a wildlife preservationist, she has several pets (e.g. dogs, baby possums) that you will quickly fall in love with! Overall, this was one of the greatest Airbnb experiences I've had; I highly recommend staying with her. Next time I'm in the area, I'm staying here again!

Robin was very friendly and did anything to ensure our stay was great. She had great communication and even offered things we could do while in the area. Her pets were extremely friendly and she made us feel at home.

Robin's home was absolutely the getaway that myself and my niece needed for Easter weekend. Exactly as she described, and Robin herself went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. Could not have asked for a more kind or accommodating host.

Great escape from the city and Robin is a wonderful host with a good heart. She really cares and you can see that. She took us around the Smokies for a small fee and it was worth it as she knows the area extremely well and it was great to have a very personable tour guide/friend. She was a great driver too and we felt safe with her at all times. Much better than an organised tour. We had a great time and would love to come back again :)

Robin's cabin is super sweet. The location is near highway and it's in smoky mountains. The loft is suitable for a couple to stay in. We really enjoyed the days staying with Robin and her cute dogs. Robin is a nice person. She prepared everything we might need. We will definitely choose Robin's house again in the future!

Robin is a terrific hostess and I have to add that I now consider her a friend. She is a uniquely kind and thoughtful person. She is interesting, really fun and game for anything. I mentioned Dollywood and she got tickets for us before arrival. We knocked around Gatlinburg and went to Elkmont, an abandoned historical resort community. She had things for us to do for New Years Eve and we went to Asheville and The Biltmore. I loved snuggling with her four dogs, but along with Robin herself, her rescue possum, Maddie, really stole my heart. Robin educated me on the custom, mores and people of Appalachia. I could not have had a lovelier time.

Robin User ProfileRobin is a superhost.

I'm very friendly. I will show you around or leave you alone. Your choice! Just so you know, the loft is in my private residence. It overlooks the living room. You will have a half-bath of your own, and the shower is in the full bathroom. I will, however, give you privacy!

Important: you cannot trust your GPS - the cell service is intermittent. *Please call* to let me know approximately when you will arrive, so that I can meet you.

One more thing I've recently learned to make clear: I want your visit to be enjoyable for both of us.

So if you don't like dogs, please don't book. If you are uptight, judgemental, or critical, please - don't book. Come here to relax and enjoy your stay!

Ok, now, if you decide to book, this is important:

Again, the cell phone service here is hit and miss. The GPS - don't rely on it. *Please call* or text a day ahead of time to let me know approximately what time you will be arriving. If you need a tour guide, hiking guide, raft guide, whatever, please let me know a week ahead of time so that I can clear my schedule. This is because I sometimes don't get messages or calls until the next day or two.

I go way out of my way to accommodate my guests. I want to make your stay a 5 star experience. So if anything is substandard, please tell me and give me a chance to correct the problem while you are here - Thank you!

Seriously, Don't trust the GPS! Don't trust the GPS! ESPECIALLY AFTER DARK. Thank you
