The space
The apartment is very quiet, sunny and comfortable and has a beautiful view of the surrounding villas as well as the beautiful "Parc des Contades" nearby, where you can rest under very old and large trees. On one side of the park, you will also find a playground for children.

We offer you to occupy part of our apartment: 4 rooms with a surface area of approximately 85 m2, totally independent since they are separated from our accommodation by a locked door. The apartment is on the 3rd floor (there is no elevator).

The apartment offers 3 independent beds. The master bedroom has a double bed (for two people: 160 x 200 cm) and has a beautiful view of the Parc des Contades and the roofs of the neighbourhood's mansions.
The second bedroom, open to the hallway of the entrance, includes a single bed ( 90 x 190 cm) as well as a desk.
The third bedroom is just above the second and also includes a single bed (90 x 190 cm). It is accessed by a staircase and is open to the second bedroom/office.
The living/dining room is oriented like the master bedroom and includes a corner sofa, a table on which you can enjoy your meals while admiring the view and a TV.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, stovetop, classic oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster and all necessary supplies.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub. (Towels are provided.)
The toilets are self-contained, but do not have a sink.

After this upstairs room, is the rest of our apartment (separated from your unit by a locked door). Please note that there is no washing machine in the part we offer, but we can do one or more laundry if you wish.

Other things to note
We have written a guide in which we will present useful information about our apartment as well as the points of interest offered by the city and its region: the emblematic places to discover, activities to do and good places to eat or have a drink.

We will also provide you with a map of the city, a map of the tram and various guides allowing you to quickly target the activities that correspond to your interests and thus make your life easier in your discovery of Strasbourg!

You can find several useful shops in our neighborhood:
- A small supermarket (100 meters from our apartment): Carrefour Express is open every day until 9 p.m. in the evening and Sunday morning.
- A little further: a medium-sized supermarket: Carrefour City.
- A local farmers' market offering fruit, vegetables, meat and cheese: Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
- A bakery.

Neighbourhood highlights

Our apartment is located in the "Neustadt", a district built by the Germans between 1880 and 1914 and known for the Prussian-style buildings surrounding the French gardens of Place de la République.

Close to the apartment you will find a bakery (with delicious pastries), a Carrefour supermarket and a local farmers market.

From our apartment, walk 5 minutes following the Cathedral (or take the tram) and you will enter the historic center of Strasbourg! You will discover our magnificent Cathedral built from the 10th century and a masterpiece of European Gothic Art, as well as the Petite France district, famous for its Alsatian half-timbered houses. The city center is full of typical streets where you will find restaurants offering delicious traditional Alsatian cuisine.

If you visit us in December, you will also have the chance to admire the magnificent illuminations that decorate the whole city as well as the oldest Christmas market in France, famous throughout Europe.

The city's many museums also await you (Alsatian Museum, Historical Museum, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art...) as well as the European Institutions.

The region also allows you to discover the famous Alsace Wine Route, crisscrossing through villages each more charming and typical than the last (Eguisheim, Riquewihr, Kaisersberg...) and the superb Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg. The Vosges are a very accessible mountain range located 35 minutes from the city, offering the possibility of beautiful (marked) hikes.

European Capital, Strasbourg is located in the heart of Europe and on the border with Germany, so it is also an opportunity to cross the Rhine to discover this country: the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) and the spa town of Baden Baden are 45 minutes away and the famous city of Heidelberg (with its castle and breweries) is 1.5 hours away.

In addition, the city is 2 hours (by TGV) from Paris (the French capital), 1.5 hours (by plane) from London, 1.5 hours (by car) from Switzerland (Basel), 5 hours (by car) from Milan (Italy).
