Private Basement Garden Studio Apartment in Fairmilehead within walking distance of Pentland Hills and Highland Cows.
King Size bed, all private facilities including bathroom with high pressure shower, kitchen, washing machine and nice views with outside garden area.
With the addition of Solar & electricity storage we generate more electricity annually than is consumed and are a net exporter back to the grid
The space
A bright spacious open plan Studio Garden Flat with all your own private facilities. It’s the basement garden level of the hosts house and all the pictures are for your own private use with patio doors for your own separate access with views onto the gardens. Free on street parking.
Quiet established safe area (Fairmilehead), close to Pentland Hills and walking distance to local amenities, supermarkets and less than 5 minutes walk to Bus stops with nice walks nearby.
Your 4 miles from the City Centre with excellent transport links and 3/4 mile from the Edinburgh City By-pass between Dreghorn and Lothianburn Junctions.
For the outdoors, you are a short distance to the Pentland Hills with roaming Highland Cows and various walking and cycling routes. Swanston Village and Hillend Ski centre with the longest artificial ski-slope in Europe. Recently opened Alpine Rollercoaster toboggan Run
All private facilities - En suite bathroom with high pressure shower, Fully functional Kitchen area with Siemens Hob/oven, microwave, Fridge Freezer and microwave.
Separate Utility room with washing machine. This room also has chest of drawers and hanging space
65" Sony TV (airplay), DVD. High speed Virgin Internet Connection if required. There is also an integrated Marantz sound system for a more immersive sound experience which you can also connect to via Bluetooth
If your looking for a quiet home from home whilst visiting Edinburgh for work or leisure and not be in the hustle and bustle of the city then this is a great base for you. Please read my reviews to get valuable feedback from other lovely Airbnb guests!
Ideal for a couple or friends who prefer having their own much bigger and nicer space to relax after a busy day exploring.
Please note there are a couple of steps to access the apartment which unfortunately makes it unsuitable for wheelchairs, walking aids or guests with limited mobility issues.

Unfortunately our apartment is not suitable for babies or young children.
