Jessic wrote: “We had a perfect stay at the farm and this helped to make our trip to Venice unforgettable. It is just one bus from Mestre station so not difficult to get to and the countryside was a really nice break from the hectic tourism of the city. The wagon is not your usual caravan - it was cosy, well-equipped and stocked with coffee and good appliances. But the best thing about the place was the people who worked there. Maurizio and Mohammad were extremely kind and open people, preparing amazing homegrown meals for us, leaving bicycles for us to use. Thanks to Maurizio we even had a magical trip to the mountains, the best day of the trip- as my boyfriend discovered some of his family heritage! If you are interested in getting to know local people, practising some Italian and exploring beautiful countryside then I thoroughly recommend to you. Grazie per tutte Maurizio e ci vidiamo nel futuro! ” june 2016

My mom and I had such a lovely experience staying at the Eco Farm. Vincenzo, who runs the reception, is one of the sweetest people we met on our trip and we had so much fun practicing our Italian with him. The place is so unique and it was so fun to see a pony wandering around freely. We met so many nice people and of course, it was super awesome for me to have fresh organic veggies available for making meals. I would definitely return!

Such a charming experience! The life was relaxed with friendly people all around, even entertainment and dinners on various evenings. My dog loved being able to run around off-leash and play with the kids. The commute to Venice is real though. If you're a better planner than me you can ask for a transfer to the bus stop but I always ended up walking (15ish minutes) or taking a bike, which they provide, then a bus to the Center, then a tram/bus to Venice. So almost an hour depending on how long you waited for things. I would stay there again but would anticipate the commute realistically this time. Charming people, delicious food, an authentic taste of Italian culture.

I stayed in a room here and the value for the price was incredible. I had my own bathroom with a good shower and the room was spacious and clean. The only problem with this place would be the location. If you are staying here looking to spend most of your trip on the island of Venice, just be aware that this place is a bike ride to the nearest bus stop and then commonly two buses to get onto the island. It's a bit of a hike but very manageable for the price.

Maurizio's house is really nice, it's a bit far from Venice (approximately 45 minutes to get to Venice) but it's so nice to come to it after a long day of visiting a crowded city! It's in a very peaceful location, and the house itself is great. It's also a great way to meet people who are also staying there, I definitely had an awesome time there!

If you want to wake up in the beautiful country side with a mystical white pony in front of your room standing under the bleu pink flowers, this is the place to be. Nice garden, beautiful people who care for animal and nature, info on all your questions is provided and a nice big room with clean sheets and towels, a electric fire for cooking... very good value and a warm hearted - welcome.
