About this listing
Ty Louisette is a luxury Gite situated in the small hamlet of Kergouet, ten minutes drive from the historic town of Pontivy in the centre of Brittany. A minutes walk from the scenic Nantes-Brest Canal and situated in a tranquil countryside location.
Ty Louisette is a French country home dating from the 1950's and completely renovated by us in 2008. It has been designed as a light, spacious modern home away from home, still with original character and with all the mod cons needed for a relaxing break. Private gardens and terraces are yours to enjoy. 3-star accredited with the Prefecture de Vannes and les Office de Tourisme de Morbihan. Extensively reviewed online. We now have WiFi throughout the gîte. Ask us for the code.
The entire Gite will be at your disposal including the private front breakfast terrace which is covered in beautiful wysteria and the large rear garden and deck with tables, chairs, a large BBQ and the scent of honeysuckle which grows over the railing.
Interaction with guests
We live just across the road, never intruding but always on hand if you need help, tourisism advice, information on local restaurants or facilities.
Other things to note
Ty Louisette is wheelchair accessible, all floors are on one level, beds can be raised up if required, there is a spacious bathroom and WC (additional grab handles can be provided) and we have ramps for access to the house and garden.
Quite simply we hope our guests enjoy a fun, interesting and relaxing stay with us, all we ask is that you leave the Gite as you find it - clean and well presented. Ty Louisette is a non-smoking Gite and we kindly ask that you do not bring pets.

We have lived in France since 2004 and love the quiet pace of life here. Our gîte has been running since 2008 and brings us much joy as we meet new people from all over the world each season. We do our very best to make sure that everyone has a happy and comfortable stay with us.
I am passionate about textile art which I teach at workshops, I love gardening when I can make the time and love to swim as often as I can.
I speak French fluently and have a tiny smattering of German!
