Simply sublime- you will arrive and never want to leave!
Before we travelled Julie was brilliant at keeping in touch as well as sending us very detailed instructions on how to reach her. She even went as far to come and meet us at a strategic point en route to make sure we arrived.
We were greeted by a fantastic provincial setting of lavender bushes, rosemary, thyme and lemon trees all off which Julie offered for us to use at our pleasure.
The studio itself is fantastic and perfect for two- quiet and secluded, modern, stylishly laid out and fully equipped with everything you need for an incredibly comfortable stay. Julie had even laid out some fresh herbs from the garden and a bottle of local Rose for us- a treat for tired travellers! All the little things (that are awkward to bring with or wasteful to buy) were thought of, olive oil for cooking, nespresso capsules for the little coffee machine and tablets for the dishwasher. We've never stayed somewhere so well prepared and thought out.
The pool is the piece de resistance of the whole setting. It's beautiful. It offers great views of the hillside and we were able to use it without restriction, meaning we could lie back, and relax with just the sounds of the cicadas for company.
Julie and her family were fantastic hosts. She printed out lots of information and maps showing highlights of the local area, shared a glass of wine with us at the pool side and was attentive and readily available throughout our stay.
The studio is very conveniently located although from personal experience we would recommend hiring a car- whilst not 100% necessary we found it more than worth the cost to make life easier to explore the local area, pop to the nearby Carrefour supermarket for supplies or take the short 10 min drive to the nearest beach at Juan Les Pins.
Overall we cannot thank or recommend Julie enough for a fantastic stay in her lovely studio.
