Our place is a warm and cosy house in one of Dublin's oldest and friendliest neighbourhoods. We are close to the IFSC, the 3 Arena and Dublin's beautiful Docklands. We are very well located for businesses like Gugle, and Airb&b, as well as the IFSC. The Aviva Stadium is a 10 minute walk and City Centre 30 minutes by foot.

The space

This lovely double room, is at the back of the property with it's own bathroom which is NOT SHARED while our bedroom is at the front of the property. We have just completed a project to provide this privacy for our guests comfort.

We are excited to share our space with people traveling!

Guest access

While there are no cooking facilities guests are free to make tea or coffee and there is always some fresh soda bread , delicious marmalade and muesli available to start your day.

Interaction with guests

We are always happy to suggest places to visit, and offer advice. Peter is a tour guide so you couldn't be in better hands! While City Centre is only 30 minutes stroll away our immediate area has many great restaurants and pubs all within a 15 minute walk. Peter and Bernie are delighted to share our favourites!

Other things to note

While we do welcome guests with cars we do NOT have reserved parking available. However our guests usually find safe parking close by our house.

Peter and Bernie made us feel very welcome. Excellent accommodation for anyone visiting Dublin. Near the bus which will take you to the centre of Dublin - a short ride (if you don't want to walk). If you need any local information then Peter is your man. The photographs are a true representation of the accommodation. Highly recommended.

A delightful room in a bungalow just 30 mins walk from the city centre. A wonderful host couple who prepared us a breakfast each morning and have great suggestions of places to visit. Thoroughly recommended. Thanks so much Peter and Bernie.

We had a fantastic stay at Peter's place. As a host Peter (and his wife) were warm, welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. The bed is very comfortable and we had our own private bathroom which made the stay really enjoyable. Breakfast was provided too which was a nice touch. The place is an easy 30 min walk into town. Highly recommended.

I was honoured to stay with Peter and his wife, being the first guest in their newly renovated room and bathroom at the back of their house. I came for business, I slept well every night, could shower ever morning, was able to fry my eggs and enjoy them with the lovely Irish soda bread provided, all without any problems. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome, not just as a guest but like family. The room and the bathroom next door were very clean, and this is an ideal place for those on business in Dublin. Peter also has a wealth of knowledge on Irish history and sight seeing throughout Dublin and Ireland, and I was provided with plenty of written and verbal information whenever I needed.
