Welcome to Clachan Geala, our much loved holiday cottage in Duror, just 20 minutes from Glen Coe. Stunning views across loch, Sleeps 4 +1 in double & family room. Safe enclosed garden. Access to the beach on Loch Linnhe. Great base for exploring.

The space
Ideally located on the shores of Loch Linnhe, Clachan Geala is a comfortable, traditional self-catering holiday cottage sleeping 4 (+1). Located in the village of Duror on the west coast of Scotland, it is also within easy reach of Oban and Fort William.

Clachan Geala has 2 double bedrooms, both enjoying open Loch views. One of the bedrooms also has single bed making it ideal for families. A travel cot and a high chair are both available.

The ground floor has a choice of living space: there is a snug sitting room with wood-burning stove - perfect for cosying up after a busy day outdoors! Alternatively, there is a glazed sun room with amazing views over Loch Linnhe - great for sunsets.

Upstairs is a family bathroom with bath; on the ground floor is a shower room.

Full domestic comforts are on tap including WIFI, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, DVD player, books, maps, board games and loads of leaflets to help you plan your time at the house. Everything you could need to help you chill and relax.

With Glen Coe, Ballachulish, Ben Nevis and the Mamores are all within minutes' drive, Clachan Geala is a perfect base for enjoying the many outdoor activities that this part of the West Highlands has to offer.

Clachan Geala has easy access to the shores of Loch Linnhe direct from the secure garden and water based activities such as kayaking, sailing and fishing are also possible.

Many day trips can be made from the cottage including visiting local islands, seal and whale watching as well as visitor attractions such as Distilleries, the climbing walls at Kinlochleven and Fort William and the Sea-Life Sanctuary near Oban.
