What a great setup! Prime location with access to Soho, Chinatown, or Little Italy within a couple minutes walk. The apartment was bright and airy with a welcoming touch. It slept our family of four very well and served as a great central location for all of our travels. We would definitely stay here again!

We clearly wouldn't recommand this place to anyone after our 7 nights stay, with our group of 5 (3 adult, one teenage and one 4 year old). PROS: Location couldn't be better in the hear of SOHO, hosts easily 5 people CONS: Unfortunately numerous and made our stay a rather unpleasant experience: - there is AC in only one of the sleeping rooms, making it difficult to sleep in August heat - street noise made it very difficult to have a decent sleep at night for any of us... and after 5AM, terrible noise from construction site trucks and engines accross the street (I guess) and in neighbooring bloc - there is no way to get dark in the 2 sleeping rooms on the street side (no blinds) making it very had to sleep (for those 3 reasons: noise, heat, and light, we got back from our vacation with a very strong lack of sleep) - air mattress getting flat in middle of the first night (even though used by the 4 year old)... ruining our first night as he woke up in tears and we had to handle this shortage of bed in the middle of the night - one of the rooms is in the center of the flat without windows or air circulation... but it is quite silent (we had turns to use it to get some sleep in the week) - turning the light on in the living room turns it on in this middle sleeping room making it impossible to sleep while someone is in the living room at night - there was a light water leak from the ceiling in one of the rooms, Trevor pretented to discover it when obvioulsy it had been there of ages: it was 30 cm wide black mushroom stain area... an other large stain is to be found in the corridor... such stains are really unhealthy and can cause breathing condition - upon arrival, sheets had been cleaned and roughly dried in the dryed and left in a ball, still a bit wet in the cabinet (smell and hygene) - there is a clear lack of wall sockets, electrical strips and extensions making it hard, with a group of 5, to get light in the evening while loading phones, cameras, laptops, ipads and so... - cleaning was really poor and on the limit of hygene : oven disgusting covered with stains and grease, top of frigde, under beds, furniture, covered with thick layer of dust, vent in bathroom useless as covered with massive dust (probably not cleaned in ages) - only one drinking glass in the kitchen to share for all of us (had to buy plastic cups) - no tea towels (had to use towels in the kitchen) - no table lamps (making it impossible to use the living room in the evening) - one table lamp didn't function properly (stripped cables), Trevor suggested that I hold the cables together to get it function (!) no matter...

Response from Trevor:
I'm disappointed that Nicolas was so dissatisfied with his stay, but before taking his review too seriously, I would encourage future guests to read any number of the dozens of 5-star reviews we have received. As for Nicolas' complaints, well, some people are determined to have a bad experience. We confronted and solved every problem that Nicolas presented, including having lights, air mattress, glassware, etc. delivered overnight. Indeed, there are slight water stains in the ceiling but nothing that "can cause breathing condition" — simply an old building with some drainage issues. There are indeed shades on all the bedroom windows and there is currently no construction on the block, but I digress. Again, I'm very disappointed that Nicolas had such a bad experience, but I would encourage future guests to take his review with a grain of salt and read a few more before deciding if our apartment is the right fit :)

I stayed with a group of 5 total at Trevor's place and we loved it! It was spacious and cozy at the same time, we were always able to relax after a super long day out. The communication between Trevor was also fantastic and he always responded efficiently! Location wise is great as well with many restaurants and shops around, and in walking distance of the East/West village. Subway is just down the block which goes all the way uptown, very easy to navigate. The place felt like our own apartment in NYC. The kitchen had just enough for us, as we ate out almost every morning/evening. I recommend this clean, spacious place for groups of 3 - 5, we had two couples so the two rooms with double beds worked well! You won't regret booking this apartment!
