Trish and Ian made us feel so welcome over the weekend. It was the perfect place to spend my birthday. We loved our little caravan with views of the welsh mountains. So beautiful and peaceful. We loved getting up early to watch the sun rise up over the misty mountain. The caravan was clean and comfortable and basic as described. It is a perfect place to visit if you want a simple rural retreat. We were delighted to find a toaster in the caravan and a heater when we got chilly. The cooking facilities were basic but Trish and Ian were happy to provide whatever else we needed. We fell in love with their dog George and cat Poppy and all the chickens running around. It’s a wonderful place to stay if you’re an artist or writer and need somewhere to find inspiration. Hay-on-Wye (town of books!) is approx 35 mins drive and the views on the way (the route Trish and Ian recommended) are completely breath taking. We would love to stay for longer next time!

Unbelievably beautiful. Caravan was smashing. Comfortable bed. As we had great weather we sat outside bedazzled by the view most of the time. Great communication with Trish throughout. I will dream about this beautiful location and definitely return.

Perfect place for an ultra quiet night in beautiful countryside, and for the feeling of camping but when you don't want to set anything up. Super friendly and accommodating hosts, unbeatably beautiful surroundings.

Magical and nostalgic. We instantly relaxed in this cute little caravan and felt away-from-it-all staring at the ever-changing view across the valley. The caravan was comfortable and we slept well. The shower room/loo was close by and accessed directly from an outside door for privacy. We chose a super route back to Hay via a single track road that cuts though spectacular rugged high moorland. Will definitely return.

Where do I start? Fresh air, Great Rural location, complete privacy, a perfect place to retreat to after a hard week/month at work. Theres nothing to fault. Don't think about it - just go. Fabulous hostess. Nothing is too much trouble and she was wonderful.when my arrival.was delayed. Better book quick, before I take up all the slots!

Lovely location, very comfortable nights sleep. We couldn't get the hob to work and there was no cutlery, large plates or pots and pans. Bring your own camping stove and cooking equipment. We didn't get around to eating until about 11pm so couldn't knock at the house to sort anything out. There are a couple of small side plates, 2 mugs, 2 wine glasses, a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, all work fine. Probably worth checking with Trish re cooking stuff when you book as somebody may have nicked stuff and it hasn't been noticed!! All in all a lovely place to stay.

Fantastic adventure in the mountains of Brecon. Stunning views from the caravan surrounded by sheep and rugged mountains.
