A spacious house in a delightful creekside position in the peaceful village of Penpol overlooking the tidal Restronguet Creek. This is a wonderfully convenient place to stay, close to Truro and Falmouth. There are lovely walks nearby and you can cycle along the Bissoe Trail from here to the north Cornish coast. There is a lovely roof terrace where you can enjoy the stunning views and a creekside garden with added tidal pontoon, out haul and mooring if you are bringing your own boat.

The space
There are 2 car parking spaces on the drive and the house is accessed via steps down to a small courtyard area.
The house is arranged over 2 floors. The entrance hallway takes you through to a large open plan kitchen, diner, lounge area with a small balcony and stunning views over the tidal creek. There is a flat roof in front of the property which is strictly off limits (and not an outdoor terrace area).
There are two bedrooms on this level, accessed from the lounge. One bedroom has a super king bed and a single bed and another bedroom has a double bed with a desk for homeworking. There is a family bathroom with shower and toilet and also another separate toilet on this level.
Upstairs there is a roof terrace which enjoys views over the creek and is a real sun trap. There is also a master bedroom on this level with a super king bed. There is a mezzanine area with a sofa bed and a family bathroom with a bath and toilet.
The water front garden is accessed via steps down the side of the house and across the lane called The Old Tramway (many gardens in this area are separate from their houses). The garden has lovely creek-side views. There is a garden table with chairs, a couple of benches and a swing. The garden is a lovely place to enjoy the sunshine all day long.

Penpol and the surrounding area enjoys access to not only boating and sailing waters, but also excellent countryside walking and riding along bridle paths, as well as the Bissoe Trail, an 11 mile cycle path starting from Devoran and finishing on the north coast at Portreath. Nearby Devoran has the Old Quay Inn, a popular local pub. There are also three 18 hole golf courses within easy reach and a good choice of sailing clubs nearby at Mylor, Flushing and Restronguet. Truro is Cornwall's only city, it's cobbled high street has a good spread of shops and restaurants as well as being home to the Hall for Cornwall and the Royal Cornwall Museum. Truro Cathedral dominates the skyline of the only city in Cornwall. Set on the original site of St Mary's Church, the current building's foundations were laid in 1880 and, today, it towers over a cobbled high street of modern shops and restaurants. Although Bodmin still holds the official title of Cornwalls County Town, most view Truro as the focal point of Cornwall. Lemon Quay plays host to many events throughout the year, including the Cornwall Food & Drink Festival in the Autumn and the famous Truro Food and Drink Show just before Christmas....
