I would like you to relax and enjoy a wonderful property. You can expect beautiful sunrises and sunsets from this remote and beautiful property. The stars and moon are extremely clear so bring your telescope if you have one. Please bring your sense of adventure as there are many exciting and interesting things to do in the area. Pets are allowed. Dogs especially. Smoking is not permitted inside and be respectful of the character of the buildings if you do smoke outside as they are old and made mostly of wood. The woodstoves are not toys and can generate a lot of heat. the door of the stove must be closed at all times and children are not to go near it. It gets to over 400 degrees very easily. There will be instructions on the use of the stove and it is imperative that they are read and understood. Otherwise it throws off beautiful heat and makes the church very cozy.

Bruce provided a very accurate description, his communication was prompt, and he was very friendly and welcoming. The location was beautiful (hiking trails, ski hills, etc.) and the building was cozy and unique.

Everyone seems to know about Duncan, even though it is a bit out of the way. A 1/2 hour drive to Collingwood, Kimberley, Thornbury so just far away enough. The nights are quiet and the stars easy to see. If semi -seclusion is what you are looking for it is a great place to visit.

Attended a wedding at Georgian Hills Winery. The Church at Duncan was in a great location for us. Cool factor off the scale. If we had more time, we would have hiked the Bruce Trail up in the bluffs nearby.

We had a great time at Bruce's church. The renovation, although somewhat dated, allowed one to get the sense of what the church might have been like 70-80 years ago. We especially loved having the hiking trail so close by and when the sun came out on the freshly fallen snow it wa…
