Lighted fishing dock-we have ‘the green blob’ you can throw in at night-yard, patio, parking, privacy. Upstairs unit sleeps 6; downstairs unit sleeps 4. Best for fishing buffs, boaters, families, couples. Remember you have to be 27 or older to book! Very successful fishing off dock!

The space
Waterfront house located on the bayside, just down the street from Blackbeard's Restaurant at 228 Esperanza. Private, spacious, newly remodeled, right on the water. Property preferentially rents as a whole, providing the guest exclusive access to all of the house, the entirety of the grounds and its unique amenities, to include fishing access. The upstairs sleeps 6 and the downstairs sleeps 6.
The upstairs unit and downstairs unit can rent separately; considerations for this can be made on a case-by-case basis.
The property has a lighted fishing pier. One of South Padre's best kept secrets is that this is one of the best night fishing spots on the entire island! (Guests have attested to this!) This is a great location for a fishing getaway or family vacation!

The spacious concrete patio has fantastic views of the bay, and is ideal for a sunset barbeque. Wi-Fi usually available. Upstairs/downstairs units are adjoined by a protected staircase. Entire property can be rented as a whole (preferred), or considerations for upstairs only/downstairs only rentals can be considered on a case-by-case basis. Air conditioning, cable TV, DVD, full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator. Washer & dryer in both upstairs & downstairs. Neither unit has a dishwasher. Linens provided.

Upstairs unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms total. Master BR with King bed has enclosed bath. 2nd BR with 2 double beds and easy access to 2nd bath. 2 sleeper sofas in living room (1 Queen, 1 full).

Downstairs has a separate bedroom with Queen bed and enclosed bath. Trundle bed in common living area downstairs (sleeps 2).

Our Permit number is 2015-667875 from the town of South Padre.

Guest access
If you rent the entire property, it's yours alone. If UPstairs/downstairs units are rented separately, guests share the yard, lighted dock, patio, boat tie-ups, and parking area. We welcome you!

Other things to note
House is fully furnished with linens provided and a fully equipped kitchen upstairs and down. There is a starter supply of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and dish soap but plan to bring or buy grocery items. There is a grocery store on the main street on the island, and a larger one in Port Isabel before you cross the bridge.
The main renter/responsible party must be over 28 as must every member of his/her party (unless traditional family unit arrangement, parent/child etc.). Proof of age & address in the form of a government-issued photo ID (driver's license or similar) will be required prior to occupancy. Owner and/or owner's representative will require this ID verification regardless of whether it has been previously provided to AirBnB or other booking services. Parties not meeting age, occupancy and verification requirements will have admittance refused, and rental fees forfeited just as for any cancellation. Parties found to be in violation of property rules will have their access to property and occupancy privileges immediately revoked, and further, will be subject to eviction, with forfeiture of any monies paid and without any expectation for refund. Parties misrepresenting themselves, or using false or misleading information in order to book the property, will have their access to property and occupancy privileges immediately revoked, and further, will be subject to eviction, with forfeiture of any monies paid and without any expectation for refund.

During your stay
Property Manager will generally stop by on day of guests' arrival, and will periodically check on the property during your stay. Property Manager's contact information will be provided in Check-In packet. You enter with a key from the lockbox. Call the Property Manager if there are any problems or questions.
