Bowen-Buscarlet is the largest of the four Crew Rooms, this suite has its own entrance off the Western Avenue, opposite the Parachute Store. With an open plan kitchen, dining room and sitting room, Bowen-Buscarlet has plenty of cooking equipment, a cooker, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The double bedroom and ensuite shower room both open in to the main living area, which is lit from the roof by a magnificent skylight lantern during the day and hidden uplighting at night. This suite has a connecting door to the Rotheram suite.

Located to the rear of Building 82 – The Power House, the Crew Rooms are nestled in what used to be the power generation and pump house, distributing water and electricity around the former RAF Bicester WW2 bomber training station. Each room is named after a distinguished RAF Station Commander dating back from 1939.

Stayed in the Bowen-Buscarlet room for two nights. The apartment was lovely and spacious, warm and clean. The attention to detail was outstanding, with lots of classic car magazines and car related pictures. We drove our 1968 Riley Kestrel to attend the Sunday Scramble and had a great weekend. It was certainly different waking up on Sunday morning to watch all the various classic cars arriving on our doorstep. If you want to step back in time, then this is the place.

Was the perfect place to stay for 2 nights. A lovely, tidy and clean home, with more than enough room for two people. The estate where it is located was incredible! If you are a lover of vintage classic cars and aircraft, it would be perfect for you.
