This is a small bedroom in my home with a comfortable futon bed (full size), chest of drawers, night table and built in shelves. It has a small fridge in the room. If you need more fridge space you can use the one in the kitchen and you are welcome to use the kitchen for cooking. There is free wifi for your use. I provide you with coffee or tea in the morning.

You share the bathroom with me. You have shelf space to leave your bath stuff out. I provide towels and washcloth.

Quiet hours are from 10:30pm - 8am. As this is my home there can easily be noise at other times - tv, radio, cooking in the kitchen, talking on the phone, etc.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood in the S.E. part of town, close to the airport and about 8 minutes by car to the hip Nob Hill area, full of restaurants, shops and a hopping night scene. Other places and distances are:

Host has great original paintings hanging everywhere. Ask to see her studio. It is pretty impressive. The room is stuffy at night unless you open the window. The host is very welcoming.

Judith has a warm home and is a great host! She even set me up with an ironboard and iron so I could press my clothes before a wedding. There is quality art and a fridge in the room too!

The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. I felt safe parking on the street. The room was very large and was great for my extended stay. Judith was friendly and very accommodating. She allowed me to cook and use everything as if I was living there full time. The room did not get that hot during the day. The house's swamp cooler and fan's were able to keep everything cool.

Judith is a warm and gracious hostess. I had a late arrival and she stayed awake to greet me and help me get settled in. The bed was very comfortable so I had a great night's sleep, and in the morning some delicious coffee. It was pretty easy to find her place, which is full of her beautiful artwork! Her work is both meaningful and beautiful to look at. She took some of her time to explain some of her paintings, which I found fascinating. Judith is a wonderful host and her home is a marvelous place to stay. I can't be too enthusiastic because I had such a good time there and felt so at home. You don't want to miss a stay at her place if you're in Albuquerque for business or pleasure!

Judith User ProfileJudith is a superhost.

I moved to New Mexico many years ago from San Francisco. As an artist, I was drawn here because of the light and the natural beauty. I keep busy working in my studio, showing my work at art markets and teaching part-time. In addition to painting, I love being outside in nature, swimming, reading, gardening, yoga, dance and travel.
I speak Spanish, Greek (badly) and am learning French. I love hanging out with friends and look forward to making new friends through airbnb.
