Well kept self-service lodge in a quiet, family friendly holiday park surrounded by nature in the Veluwe forest.

Located just to the east of picturesque Hoenderloo village, a gateway to the National Park boasting spectacular wildlife & the Kroller-Muller museum, famous for it's Van Gogh collection.

Just 90mins drive from Amsterdam, and close to Germany in the east, it's a great base for exploring the Netherlands & beyond. WWII historic sites also abound with Arnhem on the doorstep.

The space

THE CABIN>> Well kept furnished lodge in a quiet, family friendly woodland holiday park. Free shared park WiFi (not suitable for business travel as in peak times can get slow and intermittent).

2 bedrooms (twin camping beds and bunk bed), a bathroom and open plan kitchen & dining plus living room space that features a Gas Heater, small Flat Screen Television (cable reception is poor, we suggest using the DVD/usb player), WII console and Radio. Small office desk. Private garden with shed outside and own driveway.

Comfortably houses families of 4. Kitchen features a fridge with freezer compartment, a Microwave, bread toaster, washbasins and a gas stove (4 plate). Good park laundry facilities located just 50m from the chalet.

SELF SERVICE>> Guests are required to clean and tidy the cabin upon departure. We advise guests to bring their own pillowcases, duvet covers/sleeping bags and towels. If this is not possible, fresh bed linen is available to rent (€5 per bed, €1 per towel, regardless of stay duration).

Guest access

Information of how to open the cabin is provided after booking. No need to meet (unless you prefer), simply head straight there!

Entire property and use of park amenities such as: Swimming Pool (seasonal), Restaurant, Kids Play Area and neighbouring park bowling/restaurant.

Interaction with guests

Available on my mobile number (provided at booking) should anything arise, also feel free to call about local tips/guidance or if you prefer to meet in person.

Other things to note

Part of “Ben’s dream De Rimboe” - the holiday park is situated in the middle of the forest boasting gorgeous nature walks on all sides. Expect regular sightings of Wild Boar (who often wander into the garden at night), Deer, Red Squirrels and if you’re lucky, the occasional shy fox.

The park is quiet, especially in the winter. At night time the area gets very dark (minimal artificial lighting) so if your arrival is going to be after sundown, please take note that the park and cabin are somewhat more difficult to find (though the instructions we send you once booked should be sufficient). In wintertime, sunset can be as early as 16:30 and in summertime as late as 22:30!

We briefly met Nathanael shortly after we arrived at the cabin and he could not have been more kind and friendly, he was also amazingly fast to respond to any messages prior to arrival. The cabin itself was lovely, there was plenty of room for two of us and it was very peaceful, the gas fireplace especially made it very cosy. The park is super picturesque and wonderful to walk though, and all you have to do is walk out the door and its all there. We discovered there's not much open in the village on Sundays, it didn't bother us at all but it's something to note.

We had a really nice stay at the Fox Corner. The location is beautiful, like waking up in a forrest. There are a lot of things to do around the area (Veluwe were you can bike, hike and visit museums) and enough places to eat in the nearby village. The cabin itself was really clean and has everything you need.

Nathanael's place was a good experience. It is located close to the national park and is surrounded by nice and quiet woods. The communication with Nathanael was easy and fast. The place fits the pictures very well. The beds were a bit small, but we all slept well. thanks Nathaneal!

This place is nice and secluded, with quiet surroundings. We were four adults and were very happy with the location and the space. Water pressure from the shower was excellent. There is a SPAR grocery store within a quick drive, so you can easily get supplies for your stay if needed. All in all, great stay!
