Original country store with old store counter and drawers still in place. Your bedroom is downstairs with its own bath. A second bedroom upstairs has a single bed and shares a bath, and our sun-porch has a very comfortable futon fold out couch, (but is not very private).

Kitchen, Living Room, Dining room, Sun Porch and bedroom. TV is available in the downstairs bedroom, and in the Living Room if we aren't home or if you want to watch what we are watching. There is a full pottery studio if you want to do anything with clay.

We will be available for questions and if you need anything special. We like to interact with guests and learn more about them and are happy to share our life stories as well. Vera being a first generation American and tri-lingual will be happy to delve into most any topic, in any one of her 3 languages. Bob is the artist and chief cook and bottle washer but loves to have lively discussions about most anything. This area is known as very conservative and we would be outliers in that respect.

Amish neighbors, local "Bent and Dent" grocery, restaurant within 3 miles. Close to IUP and Pittsburgh. Farming and forests make up the scenery. There are 3 original covered bridges within a few miles of the house and worth the visit.

You will definitely need your car to get around. No public transit or taxis.

Coffee machine is a Nespresso and you are welcome to make yourself coffee. Tea is also available.
We do have pets, a cat and a dog.

Retired couple in our 60's Potter, Editor. We live 1 ,1/2 hours outside Pittsburgh and we go there often to visit with Vera's 94 year old mother. We love to travel and Vera speaks Italian and French so international visitors are welcome. I love to cook so you will find me in the kitchen making dinner for my bandmates for our practices Thursday nights.
