About this listing
We would like you to experience some of the magic of Bansko! After a hectic day on the slopes, get yourself cosy, put your feet up, and relax... in our bright, stylish, one bed apartment, just 700m from the gondola
Ideal for a couple, our apartment is in a perfect location - a quiet street, within walking distance to many traditional restaurants, a 10 min walk to the gondola and what's more, just around the corner, is a very stylish swimming pool and SPA that you can use for a small charge - and do check out the one hour Chocolate Pleasure treatment!
After a hectic day on the slopes we want you to be able to relax so we've added some special touches to make it as homely and cosy as possible. We can also organise our local man to pick you up from the airport if you need it - he's a real star.
Back to the finer detail, there's a large bedroom with double bed and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There's a 32 inch flat screen TV which you can hook up to your laptop - there's FREE WIFI - and you can also watch a selection of DVDs we've supplied, or bring along a few of your own.
The lounge/kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge freezer , dishwasher, kettle, toaster and microwave. The bathroom has a shower, bidet and all the essentials. There's a hairdryer and iron and ironing board too.
There are many mini markets nearby for food shopping or if you would rather eat out, then there's lots of choice nearby.
What's not to like!
Guests have sole occupancy of the apartment so you have complete privacy. If you are coming by car then free parking is right outside the apartment block at Entrance B. Our apartment entrance is Entrance C, just to the left of the building.
Interaction with guests
Roza or Vili will look after you while you are in Bansko, as unfortunately I don't reside there. Both delightful ladies speak very good English and will help you with whatever questions you have. I will give you their telephone number when you book and the 24 hour assistance line.
There will be some tea, coffee, fresh milk and sugar so that you can have a hot drink when you arrive. Please let us know if there is anything else you wish us to organise to make your visit a little easier.
One of the great things about Bansko is that it's great value for money - you can get a 6 day ski pass with skis, boots and pole hire for just £140. The traditional town of Bansko is very pretty - I love it. It's such a great mix. There is the old town, near the church, where cobbled streets with traditionally built houses dating back years give you lots of photo opportunities - and welcoming restaurants that give you the real experience of Bulgaria. Coupled with this, at the top end of town, are the more modern restaurants and shops. You have the best of both worlds.
Taxis are a very easy and cheap way to get around, although you can walk to many restaurants, shops, banks etc and of course, to and from the gondola station. We use a particular taxi company which we can recommend if you wish.
Other things to note
Please note there is no lift at the complex and our apartment is on the fourth floor.
The lights in the stair wells will turn off after a certain length of time so please don't panic if you find you are plunged into darkness! Just push the nearest switch again if you need to turn them on.
We want you to make yourself at home in our lovely apartment. All that we ask is that you respect our home and belongings and if anything gets broken we accept that accidents happen, but would rather know - we can then mend or replace so that the next guests can enjoy - thank you. There is absolutely no smoking in the apartment or complex so please go outside if you wish to do this.
I love photography - and we're certainly spoilt for choice for things to photograph living round here. I play tennis, love to walk on the beach and around the harbour and when I'm not walking I like to be on my bike. I have a lot of friends, so lunch and chat is an essential part of my life. My partner loves to dinghy sail and we have just invested in a boat that hopefully won't capsize so that will get me out on the water too. Working three days a week it's hard to fit in all these leisure activities, but I give it my best shot. It's the simple things I love - impromptu picnics in the countryside, evening bbqs with friends, and best of all - breakfast on the beach. I would be more than happy to share my favourite spots with you so that you can enjoy your stay to the full.
