As a consequence of staying at the Zion Chapel, a converted Methodist Church overlooking Hebden Bridge, it's almost impossible to consider returning to the Calder Valley and not staying there, such was it's significant contribution to the pleasantness of the trip. We always look to stay in an apartment, as opposed to say a Hotel, or B&B, as it gives us options. Hebden Bridge has a lot to offer in a relatively small area and as much as you're spoilt for choice for places to eat, for instance, it's also a pleasure to pick up a Mytholmroyd Sourdough and some Yorkshire Blue Cheese at the Thursday fresh produce market or pick up some Belly Pork from Woodhead's on St George's Square and some organic veg at the Valley Organics Workers Co-op on Market Street and enjoy dinner in the comfort of your own modern and stylish apartment, whilst you watch the sun go down over Calderdale.

This is a simply lovely apartment in a converted old chapel. It is very spacious, and furnished with great care, having everything we could possibly need for a long weekend away. The view from the window is spectacular. Charlotte has provided a lot of information on the many things to do and see in the area. We were also very appreciative of fresh bread from the bakery, as well as local beer and other small treats. Parking is available right outside the door and it's free of charge. It's no more than a 5 minute walk to the centre of Hebden Bridge, where there is a huge number of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The walk back involves quite a steep hill so may well take a bit longer!

This is a comfortable, immaculate and airy flat with fabulous views. It's attractively presented with lots of nice personal touches and even fresh flowers. Charlotte had kindly left us milk and juice in the fridge, along with some other provisions. A great location: it's a short, steep walk into the centre of Hebden Bridge where there are plenty of shops, cafes and places to eat. We really liked the Olive Branch (Turkish/Mediterranean and great value) but were a bit disappointed by the Old Gate. There are beautiful walks which can be done straight from the flat. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring the area and the large living space is very pleasant to relax in and enjoy the view when you've worn yourself out. We had originally booked for February but due to illness weren't able to make it. Charlotte was very accommodating and helped us out with rebooking at the last moment. Much appreciated.

Charlotte's apartment was amazing: really nicely furnished, but with plenty of space, modern amenities and no clutter, and her welcome was wonderful. There are excellent views of the town and surrounding hillsides, and Hebden's pubs, restaurants and shops - all of which are excellent - are just a short (but rather steep) walk away. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing apartment, exactly as described, with stunning views of Hebden. Charlotte has thought of everything and has made the place feel very homely. There was a basket of food including biscuits, bread and jam, as well as milk and butter in the fridge. It was little touches like this that really added to the place and made it feel so special. We had a fantastic weekend here and when we next visit Hebden will certainly be staying here again!

Hello from 'Trouser Town'! In it's heyday Hebden Bridge was producing 20,000 pairs every week! The factories are now gone but Hebden Bridge remains a buzzing, lively market town. Packed with independent shops, bars and restaurants.

I live here with my family and we love it! we also love to travel both in the UK and abroad and we are experienced house exchangers.
I also love to run, especially on our beautiful (sometimes bleak!) moors. Food and cooking play a big part in my life and I am a big sewer when I get the chance.
