The space

We offer this double bedroom in our cosy, quiet home in a charming residential street in walking distance to all major sights of Dublin.

Guest access

Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom/shower, living room, wifi, washing machine, dish washer, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, small back garden (suitable for smokers).
Please note that the bathroom is on the ground floor and is shared, while the bedroom is on the first floor.

Interaction with guests

We serve you a buffet of simple, continental breakfast including cereal, toast, orange juice, coffee, and tea. We respect your space. If you want, we'll offer you tips and advice on the best spots to see in Dublin. You can also join us for a chat over dinner, a board game in our cosy living room, or a night out. In any way, we'll be trying to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

The neighbourhood

The Camden Street area is one of the very best in Dublin – lively, multicultural, full of pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, music venues and night clubs. Whelan's (location of "P.S. I love you"), Dublin's most important music venue is just around the corner. Devitt's and Flannery's are two other pubs that are host to some of Dublin's best traditional Irish music sessions every week.

Other places of interest in the immediate vicinity include: St Patrick's Cathedral, Marsh's Library, The Irish-Jewish Museum, the birthplace of George Bernard Shaw, the National Concert Hall, the Iveagh Gardens, St Stephen's Green … and many more.

Grafton Street, Trinity College, the Parliamentary buildings, the National History Museum and the National Gallery are within a radius of 10-15 mins walk. So too are Dublin Castle and the wonderful Chester Beattie Library.

The thriving nightlife of George's Street, South William Street and Dame Lane – and the more tourist-focused Temple Bar are also about 10 mins walk away.

The Guinness Brewery, the Jameson Distillery, the Brazen Head Pub, The Cobblestone, O'Connell Street are a little further out from the centre, but easily walkable. It's worth pointing out that Dublin city centre is mostly on the south side of the river, so most places of interest – and most of the nightlife – are easier to access if you're based on this side of the city.

For sports fans, Croke Park is on the number 16 bus route; the Aviva Stadium/Landsdowne Road is a short taxi journey away.

Getting around

You can get to all the main city-centre attractions easily on foot. We're happy to provide you with maps, tips, and recommendations on where to go. If you have cause to use public transport, the area is very well served by bus routes, light rail (Luas), taxis and Dublin Bikes.

You can get to and from the airport with Bus No. 16 from Camden Street (5 min walk) for 3.30€.

What a comfy place, with great hosts to boot. Most sights are a 10- to 15-minute walk. And Jessica and Sebastian's recommendations are worth a look, especially if you're new to the city like I was.

Our stay here was wonderful! The bed was comfortable and extra blankets were supplied. They had extra converters, a hair dryer, and provided us with towels. The only thing about the apartment is that the bathroom is downstairs through the kitchen, which we were just not used to. Breakfast was spread out every morning we were there which was so thoughtful!! Although we were staying with Jéssica and Sebastian we only ran into them when we checked in. We felt very at home and comfortable here and totally recommend staying here. Especially for the price!!

Jessica and Sebastian were very organised and welcoming sending us tips before our arrival. Communication really was excelled. The room is perfectly adequate for a short stay and the location makes it easy to get round all the major Dublin attractions. I would note the bathroom is downstairs and through the back of the kitchen. Also the house is old and got very cold while we were there although there heaters provided to quickly warm the room up.
